The ole tourney stuck in the middle of end of majors and start of playoffs.

Any value out there?

Couple random bigger names...playing

-Sergio
-Stenson
-Deki

Also interesting as the lower tier guys fight to get their card, qualify for Web.com playoffs, etc. Think Sergio and Hideki are just trying to find their games. Sergio may be left off Ryder Cup team if he doesn't show them something. Haven't looked at any odds yet, but there are some guys I'm interested in: Rafa Cabrera Bello, Shane Lowry, Snedeker, Julian Suri, HV3, Niemann. Norman Xiong is making his 3rd pro start, a little disappointed with the way his pro career has started.

US Am is also this week. Won't bet it, but is usually pretty solid viewing

Stenson: CUT PGA T-39th Bridgestone [+1] T-35th Open Championship [+1] last three

FedEx Playoff ramifications this week. top 125 in FedEx points MAKE the Northern Trust next week

Sergio Garcia is #131 in FedEx points with 331 points going into Wyndham. current #125 "bottom feeder" is Tyrone Van Aswegen with 364

other "bubble" players this week
Chad Campbell #126 with 361 points
Robert Garrigus #127 with 353 points
Corey Conners #128 with 344 points
Nick Taylor #129 with 340 points
Tom Lovelady #130 with 332 points

Irishman Shane Lowry is down at #139 with 296 points. "Fat Bastsrd" tied 12th at PGA
surprised the Belgium Thomes Pieters NOT playing at #149 and 260 points. could still make it with a WIN or high finish esp with his tied 6th PGA last week

Top 150 is huge, conditional status next year. Crazy to not play at 149.

He'll still get into events likely on world ranking but still

found five more tourney match plays for Wyndham. should have waited on RCB over Stenson. it went to +110 (bet/return)

Matchups:

Webb -105 vs Stenson
Hideki +120 vs Stenson
Sneds +110 vs Lowry
Schneidrjans +140 vs Sergio
Suri +115 vs Stricker

Continuing the fade Sergio plan. Also think Stenson is still bothered by that sore elbow, and if he weren't defending, I doubt he'd even peg it this week.

ref: Shane Lowry -110 over Brandt Snedeker (55/105) gonna trust gps_3 judgement and BUY OUT with his Sneds +110 over Lowry. Snedeker: T-42nd PGA [-3] T-8th Canadian [-15] CUT British Open T-3rd Greenbrier [-13] not THAT bad. except for the PGA last week BOTH playing about the same

also adding Ollie Schneidrjans +140 over Sergio Garcia @ South Point (36/86.40) Ollie Schniederjans just so-so BUT made the cut 4 of last 5 tourneys including the PGA (missed in Canada). also Ollie was solo 2nd this tourney last season [-21]. Segio Garcia CUT PGA T-39th Bridgestone [+1] (a NO cut tourney) CUT Canada CUT British Open his last four :shake:

as stated Brandt Snedeker 1st round leader by four shots [-11] over tied 2nd Ryan Moore and former UNLV All-American golfer #524 OWGR John Oda both [-7] seven players tied 4th at [-6] including Abraham Ancer and Ollie Schniederjans

I am REALLY pissed I did NOT add John Oda @ 125-1 pre-tourney to my "cat & dogs" bets. finished tied 3rd his last tourney the Barracuda Championship with 37 points in Modified Stableford scoring and tied 34th at the Barbasol [-13] before that

so far my tourney match plays a "mixed bag"

Rafael Cabrera-Bello +105 [-2] over Henrik Stenson [-2] TIED
Shane Lowry -110 [-1] over Brandt Snedeker [-11] 11 shots down
Abraham Ancer even [-6] over CT Pan [-5] 1 shot UP
Webb Simpson even [-4] over Henrik Stenson [-2] 2 shots UP
Brandt Snedeker +110 [-11] over Shane Lowry [-1] 11 shots UP ("frisch")
Julian Suri +105 [+1] over Steve Stricker [even] 1 shot down
Nick Watney +105 [even] over Martin Laird [-1] 1 shot down
Joaquin Niemann +115 [-2] over Ryan Moore [-7] 5 shots down
Ollie Schneidrjans +140 [-6] vs Sergio Garcia [-4] 2 shots UP

looks like the 36 hole CUT could be [-2] :shake:

well Brandt Snedeker still the leader end of 2nd round [-3] for tourney [-14] with a two shot lead over D.A. Points [-6] for [-12] and three over C.T. Pan [-6] for [-11] six more at [-9] including Sergio Garcia who is fighting to get into the FedEx playoffs and maybe make the European Ryder Cup team

I went 1-1 on 2nd round CUT match plays with Julian Suri [-3/-4] over Steve Stricker [-1/-1] CUT WIN and Nick Watney [+1/+1] CUT over Martin Laird [-4/-5] LOSE. the CUT came at [-3] BUT I am behind the eight ball in all my other tourney match plays. looks like I am gonna give back what I WON at the PGA

looks like 3rd round suspended for the day due to thunderstorm. Brandt Snedeker still with the lead [-2] for tourney [-16] thru #7. Brian Yag [-6] for [-13] thru #12 solo 2nd making a move with four tied at [-12] including "The Mule" Trey Mullinax [-4] thur #12 and four at [-11] including Ryan Armour [-4] thru #15 and Sergio Garcia [-2] thru #9. OWGR #353 Michael Thompson with the round of the day so far in with [-7] for [-11]

will see WHAT happens Sunday. I have "to win" bets on Yag. "The Mule" and Armour. am 1-1 so far in completed 3rd round match plays with Sang-Moon Bae +130 over Harold Varner III WIN [-4] to [-1] and Chris Kirk +125 over Webb Simpson LOSE [-3 ] to [-4]

my remaining still "in play" Saturday match plays pretty "shakey" going into Sunday completion

/-10 thru #9] over Sergio Garcia [-2/-11 thru #9] 1 down
D. A. Points +210 [even
/12 thru #6] vs Brandt Snedeker [-2/-16 thru #7] 2 down

looks like I am going 2-5 unless English gets his game on OR Sergio "blows up". I should really STAY AWAY from round by round bets

NUTS!!! freeking Brandt Snedeker with the final round [-5] for tourney [-21] WIN just KILLS me. the bugger goes "wire-to-wire". I had either a pre-tourney OR adjusted odds "in play" bets on EVERY other of the nine golfer down to tied 8th worth anything from $200 to $500

at least I did NOT get "beat up" TOO bad on my 3rd round match plays going 2-2-2 OR my tourney match plays going 4-5

next week some REAL golf with the top OWGR players in the FedEx playoffs first round Northern Trust @ Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey. don't know IF Sergio Garcia's tied 24th moves him up into the top 125. he was 131st in FedEx point going into the tourney 33 points behind "bottom feeder" Tyrone Van Aswegen who was a CUT this week along with the next three #124 Martin Piller, #123 Seamus Power and #122 Jhonattan Vegas. #121 Bud Cauley did NOT play. the Canadian Nick Taylor pre-tourney 129th tied 8th and Harris English pre-tourney 132nd tied 11th should move up

well the adjusted fedEx standings after Wyndham Championship are up @ https://www.pgatour.com/stats/stat.02671.html

Sergio Garcia falls short with #128. wonder IF he will go play the next two Euro Tour tourneys to try and qualify for Thomas Bjorn's Ryder Cup team ??? Tyrone Van Aswegen #127 and Martin Piller #126 also fall out. Harris English #124 and Nick Taylor #119 make it into the playoffs with the Irish boy Seamus Power the "bottom feeder" @ #125. Jhonattan Vegas #123 and Bud Cauley #122 also "squeek in"
