WR Trade

Who would you rather have Marques Colston or Braylon Edwards?

Also, where would you put Randy Moss now?

I'd put Owens and Wayne as 1 and 1A.

Moss is somewhere in the top 5.

I'd rather have Colston right now over Edwards. Cleveland QB situation is not stable. Brees is a top-3 QB.

Owens is the clear 1 i'd say..

I think Believe's list is reasonable but I think Fitz is too high...but that's a good top 5...

I wouldn't sleep on Andre Johnson either. I don't rank him top-5 yet b/c of his injuries. But he had 10 catches and 110 yrds in the first game. Shaub didn't even play well. The Texans have no run game at all, and if the defense doesn't improve, they will be playing from behind a lot. That means more throwing.

BTW: I watched a good bit of game 1. Johnson had a clear TD, but the defender grabbed his jersey to prevent the score. He could easily have had over 100 and 1 td in week 1.

i got fucked royally this weekend with the trade i made. giving up owens to get LT and burleson. watch LT be hampered by that toe all year. moss going down only upped owens value.

i'd put AJ up there top 5...

tier 1
owens

2
Wayne
AJ
Colston
Moss
Fitz

I am down on Colston actually.

NO has too many targets, and while Brees will likely throw over 35 times a game, the amount of times Colston will be targeted have been diluted by the addition of Shockey. Brees already has Devery as a deep threat, Patten, Meachem could raise some eyebrows, and Brees loves targeting his TE. Add to all of that Payton's new found love of calling screen passes, so Bush will eat into Colston's work load as well.

Even so, I doubt you could put Colston lower than #6.

when playoff time hits you will be happy to have the dome player and not the guy catching bricks on frozen tundra with his hands stuck in his pockets.

New Orleans is at Chicago on a Thursday night in December. Forecast says cold, wind, possible snow/cold rain/sleet/slush.

I grabbed Patten in 2 leagues. I think he's more of a proven guy. But I don't think any N.O. WR is a solution to the Colston problem. I have Colston in 2 leagues. I'm looking for options or trades.

would anyone trade CHAD OCHO CINCO if they had him.. i doubt he does good this year.. OCHO CINCO for HINES WARD??

Funny you mention that because a guy approached me today for Garrard because he is on my bench since I start Cutler. This guy has Chad Johnson and Marvin Harrison, so I could swap Garrard for one of these two.

I'd only swap Chad for another positional upgrade. I wouldn't trade him for Ward. Maybe like Chad for one of the rookie RB's or for a low end #1 like Cutler or Favre.

I'd do Garrard for Harrison in a heartbeat it you can still get a quality back up QB either through FA or trade.

no shit, take harrison for garrard and run. chad's value is as low as it can get right now. i'd keep him before i'd trade him for shit.
