Ok then here it is,so the wbc starts thursday.Not everyones ideal event but at least we have some competative ball to get stuck into :money2:

Ive just been doing a little homework into the structure,teams,format etc.
If nobodys been arsed to delve yet,dont bother.Here you go.
Theres 4 pools,A,B,C and D..each pool got 4 teams in it.the first two teams to lose twice will be eliminated. The pool winners and runner ups will advance to Round 2 of the tournament.Its pretty shit cause 2 countries can actually play twice in the group stages.

To be honest Ive only just started looking into it,so any help would be aprreciated,I`ll get some prices up asap.
Look,its not the best but we got some live TV games to go at,so cant be all bad :)

Theres 4 countries being used for the 1st pool stages..Tokyo,Toronto,Mexico City and somewhere in Puerto Rico.
So,we kick off thursday,4 am Est :) Japan V China ....but to be fair the start times are a bit better when were at any of the other venues.

Also I found this ruling,can anyone confirm this ???

"Games will end early if a team is leading by 10 or more runs after the opposing team has batted in at least 7 innings OR if a team is leading by 15 or more runs after the opposing team has batted in at least 5 inn "
 
Check,maybe the 11 start isnt as good as it first appears.

Decided tomorrow will just be a watching brief,if I had to have a bet Id probably take Japan -11 :prayer

Japan will fuck China's shit up and hold them below 2 runs... I can tell you baseball is like a religion in Japan and look aheads are much less common in their game. who plays -11 though? it was -8 last i looked..lol

Tall,slim...looked an athlete,very young looking.Looked the package to be truthful.
Got all the pitches,to be honest he cruised through.It will be Interesting when we actually get to see him pitch to some semi decent bats,1st impression... looks a future star.

No interest in this capt by the looks of it but when/if hes scheduled to start again I`ll bump this thread.
