Massive Friday and Saturday night lights with the NY State far west regionals being played right here at my alma mater's home stadium ( ALL HIGH stadium at Bennett HS ) ...Built in 1926 and recently renovated by the Ralph Wilson foundation..



It all starts with Buffalo's MCKINLEY MACKS hosting Rochester's Brighton on Friday night. This is also the Macks home field, they're extremely athletic , always in the backfield hammering the QB and RB'S. On offense they have a 3 headed monster that averages over 11.6 Yards per carry .
Last week Mckinley Upset the #1 ranked class A team in the state ( Buffalo's ) Health Sciences..

MCKINLEY. 7. 6. 6. ( 3 different locals)
Brighton.

Prediction.
This one might be real tight as Rochester's class A is far deeper with talent and parity. However I'll make a smaller bet on McKinley. Even if they lose it sets me up nicely with the local the bet is through ( 5-0 through him this playoff );...Do have some concerns if I keep winning They'll limit my wagers or cut me off

Brighton crushes McKinley 42-14 ...-330

This sets up nicely today for a nice line Drop after Rochester hammered a Buffalo school....
Over night Bennett dropped from -8.5 to -6 at one book ...Meanwhile Rochester's Monroe has risen from -14 to -17 at the same book vs Lackawanna

Section V clashes with Section VI when Monroe and Lackawanna meet this weekend for a spot in the Class B state semifinals. Here’s the breakdown:

How they got here: Monroe (No. 1 Class B NYSSWA) won the Section V Class B title game after defeating Honeoye Falls-Lima 40-0. Lackawanna (No. 10 Class B NYSSWA) took down Pioneer (14-13), Williamsville South (20-12), and West Seneca East (44-22) to win the Section VI Class B title.

History 101: Monroe has won two sectional titles in three seasons and is looking to get back to the state semifinals after reaching the Class B Final Four in 2023. Lackawanna has won 11 sectional titles in its history and last made the Far West Regional in 2022, a year that saw the Steelers win the Section VI Class C title and make the state semifinals.

What’s at stake: A spot in the NYS Class B semifinals against the winner of New Hartford (III) and Owego Free Academy (IV).

Kickoff is set for 3:00 pm this Saturday at All High Stadium in Buffalo.

Should have got in at -14 yesterday , but I slept on it ..Don't think it will matter , Lackawanna can't throw the forward pass and Monroe is the number 1 class b team in the state with a roster loaded with players that will shine on the next level .

One team is in the Far West Regional for the first time ever. The other is in the Far West Regional for the third time in four years. Penfield and Bennett (VI) meet this weekend for a spot in the Class AA state semifinals. Here’s the breakdown:

How they got here: Penfield (No. 29 Class AA NYSSWA) started its run with a 3-0 victory over Aquinas in the opening round. In the semifinals, the Patriots went on the road to Rush-Henrietta and defeated the Royal Comets by a score of 22-13. Penfield beat Pittsford in the Section V Class AA title game to earn its first sectional title in program history. Bennett (No. 11 Class AA NYSSWA) took down Lancaster by a score of 52-13 in the semifinals of the Section VI tournament before beating Jamestown 32-14 in the championship game.

College football picks have been atrocious ..Again down around $1990 , but probably less here on CTG ... Don't have much interest in college football anymore other than the MAC ..It's just another pro football league now with the NIL, transfer portals, and schools like CAL in the ACC..

Betting today feels dirty, won't watch a second .

Wish the season never ended lol ...HS football is literally keeping me alive in sports wagering ...Without it this season I would have likely quit around week 7 of the NFL
