Because the Clippers are frauds. This team had their chance w/ Denver. They blew lead after lead at home vs. a Denver team on a B2B. The loss to Dallas was expected, so I can't argue about that. But that home loss to Denver may have put them out of the playoffs. They won't win tonight because the Hornets are just to tough. I watched these guys compete against the Suns w/ a D-League team. I also watched them comeback from 8 down on the road in a b2b with Paul playing at 70%. New Orleans has the most heart of any NBA team in the league.

Warriors 3-1, maybe 4-0 pending what Dallas does about resting players. Dallas has said the bigger names WILL get less minutes.

The Hornets (36-41) likely will play tonight without center Tyson Chandler. He was confident that resting his injured toe during the past game would have him ready for tonight's game, but Monday, a glum Chandler seemed doubtful he could play. He was wearing a protective boot on his left foot after his team practiced.

"It's less than a 50-percent chance, let's put it that way," Scott said of Chandler, the No. 2 rebounder in the NBA. "We'll have to wait and see how he is after shootaround. . . . As of right now, I would say he's out."

Chandler could be ready to play Friday against the Denver Nuggets, which will be the Hornets' final game in Oklahoma City.

"Tyson wants to play just as much as anyone, especially with what's on the line," Scott said. "But I know how bad that toe is and how much pain he's been playing in the past three to four weeks. He's gutted it out as well as he can."

Chris Paul will however give it a go.

"I got to do it," he said. "I'll play as far as my foot will allow me."

there is the outside possibility that becomes infinity more real if LAC beats LAK at Staples in a few days, that GDS finishes 7th, and LAC finishes 8th, and the Fakers miss the playoffs. Wouldnt that be a riot.

Thats why I swore off a bet on the LAC ml vs Dallas on the basis of the Mavs may throw for LAC's benefit.

GDS likely finishes 4-0 = 42-40 .... 7th
LAC likely finishes 4-2 = 41-41
Lakers could finish 1-3 = 41-41

Whichever LA team gets in, GDS doesnt face Dallas, but the Spurs:an_roll_laugh:
