Why are they showing the South Carolina State at Clemson game as suspended?

Here is another one that was shortened. I just don't understand how coaches can just change the length of a game anytime they please and with no approval from the league or anything. Maybe we should all try going into the HR office tomorrow and changing our salary to 50k more since rules don't apply anymore.

Arkansas-Texas State will play a 10-minute fourth quarter. Hogs lead 42-3 and there is a lightning storm coming.

Why don't they just play with a running clock like they do in high school so these games can be official?
