As a Phillies fan, I'm cool with this but you are correct. If any other team had the injuries the Phils had last season and still won the division they'd be getting major love.

It's all good though. When the Phillies put a stake right through the corazon of Los Mets, it will be more enjoyable for that reason.

Tigers won't win 80 games.

tipyerbartender,

I'll be more than happy to wager against/verses you you're wrong in this case. Say for $100 with the money being forwarded to any mod here of your choice and the winner gets paid following the win/loss of the wager. Let me know prior to Monday's opener. Thank you.

While I believe the Tigers will be a sub-.500 club this year, I think I'll stick with under 93.5 at the same odds, despite your generous offer. Seems like the smart thing to do. Thanks anyway.

tipyerbartender,

Not a problem thinking the Tigers will win "x" number of games, we just happen to disagree upon the number of wins. Would I be in your shoes, I'd favor 93.5 instead of 80 as well. Your number stood out in a similar fashion when a book puts out a bad number, to me, this was an opportunity (for myself) to pick up some easy and extra cash. BOL with your under, but I lean over the number you have action on and no, not interested in the 93.5 number.
