thats the problem with line movement. Someone will say they like something early in the week and once the game is done, they'll claim to have won on the best possible line.
I have the OVER 48.5 tonight...period. Even though the line is down to 46.5, im not going to change my bet since I've already bet it. Guys who celebrate different lines dont bet money.

Well both teams got lucky yesterday in terms of pushing or covering.
GTech was lucky to catch Virginia sleeping at the end of the first half. The half should have finished 10-0. They were also lucky that Virginia didn't put more points on the board in the 4th.
As for Virginia, they were lucky that Georgia Tech has some huge run plays called back because of penalties and they were lucky that GTech screwed themselves out of FG position in the 4th by taking too many penalties.
Either way, neither team did much and a PUSH was appropriate.

Bowmans and Bodog are the only two I know that had 17.5 last night! I am actually very surprised by the number of people that claim they had 17. Most of you must lock your lines early I guess. Most books were actually at 16/16.5 so great if you had Ga Tech and maybe not so great if you had Virginia unless you bought up.

I got 17 on Tuesday and boy am I glad I did. I would be pretty damn pissed off right if I had lost on +16.5 but then again, I probably wouldn't have played 16.5.

Shit...now I wish I had waited a little bit. In other words...tons of people won last night because everyone had different lines. Only losers were GT -17.5 and Virginia +16.5 but anyone who played either has issues.

That's why it pays to have more than one sportsbook. I found 16.5 then locked into the 17. I got Nevada for -6.5 instead of 7. Sometimes it doesn't seem to matter and other times you get screwed. Costing you the difference between winning and losing. I agree with mistaflava what was a good line at 2 sucks at 3. We need to lock in early on the favorites. The problem is sometimes you lock in early and it moves the other way. Will see if the 6.5 instead of the 7 impacts the Nevada game. Great thread guys!
