Hope so, Crawford's a chump anyway. First guy off the bench to replace him was Scott Van Slyke though. Seems like there's a Mattingly-Kemp feud.

yeah mattingly has issues with all his high paid players...him and puig went at it...he and kemp don't seem on the same page... him and ethier have had their moments

He's not the same player since the injuries...physically just doesn't have the same abilities he did a few years ago.

Well this isn't true at all. Puig makes $3.71 million, so he's not even in the top 10 of the Dodgers highest paid players (he's #15). Andre Eithier is #8 on the list, and Kemp is #3. It seems Mattingly has issues with these players for reasons other than the amount of money they are making....or he would have issues with Kershaw, Crawford, Gonzalez, Greinke, Hanley, etc.
Someone might wanna see if Kemp can get back on the PEDs he no longer takes....maybe he can be an above average ball player again.

He wrecked his shoulder in Colorado two years ago then he wrecked his ankle last year. Shit happens but just cuz he suffered a couple fluky catastrophic injuries that messed him up doesn't mean he was juicing.
And tip, don has issues with his ability to cover centerfield. He's been takin reps in left. I'm assuming he'll be out there tonight.

I don't get it. I've only caught a handful of Dodger games (I think one of them Kemp hit two bombs), but how bad can his defense be? When I think of Dodgers being shells of former selves, Kemp's like 5th on my list behind all those old Red Sox bums. Kemp can still hit.

i think it was the play in the bottom of the 8th vs the mets. he overran the ball by like 6 feet. it hit off the wall but his angle was embarrassing. im assuming that was donnie's breaking point.
