What This Sport Means to These Athletes

I think that happens a lot that we don't see when a season and a college career or senior night is over. The guys who don't transfer, who aren't just transactional looking to get paid, maybe a former walk-on or their dream as a kid was to play Dl football or for a certain school and then it's over. Tough when football has been your life for your entire life up to that point.
 
As jaded as most of us have become given the direction of the sport, it’s good to recognize that the vast majority of the players do this for love of the game and college is the end of the road for their playing career
