Florida has played about 2.5 seasons more of hockey than 30 franchises or so. They didn’t get the memo that Oilers speed would decimate them. That series wasn’t great and just a bad look for Edmonton all the way around.

Florida has played about 2.5 seasons more of hockey than 30 franchises or so. They didn’t get the memo that Oilers speed would decimate them. That series wasn’t great and just a bad look for Edmonton all the way around.

McDavid has only one year left on his contract so they have to figure out if he will sign an extension or not. If the answer is no they can make one last run or trade him. No matter what that team has to upgrade the goaltending; really have no idea how they reached two consecutive finals with the terrible goalies that they have.

The cap should make it more realistic to resign McDavid. They really missed not having Hyman in the finals. And for god's sake can they find a goaltender that can pull a save percentage better than .896?!?
