What's up CTG FAMILY ???
Hope you're all living in fantastic health.

Below are my grades for each position on the BILLS roster. They're in desperate need of a few solid contributors and decent depth .....

While they have 10 picks in the first 6 rounds Id bet my bankroll they make at least 2 if not 3 trades during this draft ....

Desperate needs
CB #2 , DT #2, FS #1 or 2

Needs
RB. ???? CB #3, Edge #2 , WR #3 or 4 CB#3 or 4

Could use
OT #4, LB #4. OG #3 or 4 DT #3

Please feel free to add what your favorite team needs or what you want them to draft ...

QB.
Starting QB A+ Josh Allen is the reigning MVP , which is amazing considering journeyman Mack Hollins led the Bills wr core in TD'S ...

Back up QB B. Trubisky is still under contract for this season , but don't be surprised if Mike White enters camp as the #2 as he dressed for several games last season over Trubisky. The coaching staff has commented numerous times that White did an amazing job running the scout team ...

RB. A- James Cook was outstanding last season scoring 18 TD. Unfortunately he is holding out for a new contract wanting 15m per season ...I can't see the BILLS paying him bc of his atrocious pass blocking...

Back up RB. B+. Josh Allen has called Ty Johnson the best 3rd down back in the league. Excellent at both pass catching and pass blocking. 2nd yr back Ray Davis was instantly a fan favorite as he can been seen all over WNY living life seemingly as a normal Buffaloian.

Nothing would shock me heading into the draft. Wouldn't be surprised if Cook is traded during the draft as this class is widely viewed as the most talented deep class in a long time...

I doubt the Lions stay at 28. The big question is where do they trade to? Up or down?

Do they trade Jamo?

Can't see your Lions sticking at 28 either from what I've read ...

Would love to see Williams in a BILLS jersey , any idea what they might want for him ??

Yeah the Cook situation is interesting...

Despite the league reverting to running a bit you have to be careful with the RB extensions...

If he was even average at pass blocking I think they would have given him a new deal , but he flat out stinks , almost got Josh decapitated numerous times the last few season ..

Cant see a big extension for Cook after the BILLS ponied up and resigned Benford, Rousseau , Shakir and Bernard this off-season. ...

Either they let him play out his rookie deal and lose him next off-season or they deal him this weekend .

WR.

1. B+. Shakir. Over the last seasons he leads the NFL in catch rate ...For a long stretch last season he led the NFL in yards after catch as well ....

2. C/C+. Keon Coleman. Tough to grade as he wasn't the same receiver after getting cheap shotted/injured by former Bill Jordan Poyer ....Josh appeared to trust Keon on contested balls. Expecting Keon to take a major step forward this season but I'll still grade him as league average until he does so .

Wr 3. C+. Josh Palmer. Most of BILLS Mafia was shocked when the BILLS signed Palmer to a 3yr deal worth up to $36m ...While his production has not been there when it comes to state he might be exactly what the DR ordered for the Bills as he was top 5 in separation the last 2 years...Fully expect the game plan is down the field 20+ yards and the deep balls to go Palmer's way.....

WR 4. C+. Curtis Samuel Had some decent games down the stretch but he doesn't seem to be part of the game plan most weeks ...Solid depth piece who was once a #1 Wr in the league ..Decent chance he gets cut during the preseason ...

WR 5/6. C. Sheanault and T Shavers
Sheanault was brought in to compete for the returning duties with Codrington . Shavers is a fan favorite who has a habit of showing out in preseason games ....

Cowboys
QB - Prescott/Joe Milton/Will Grier - could use another arm but I think they're OK with Milton as the backup
RB - Javonte/Miles Sanders/Duece/Malik Davis - good lord they need an upgrade here. It was Zeke and Pollard just 3 years ago!
WR - CD/Tolbert/Mingo/Brooks/Turpin - need a #2 here or at least a #3 with upside. When did they become Carolina West?
OT - Guyton/Steele/Waletzko/Richards - need a depth piece, top two are serviceable
OG - Smith/Hoffman/Jones/Bass - talent drop off losing Martin. Along with tackle need they should be looking at a swing piece
C - Beebe, Shepley - gonna have to make do here

DE - Parsons/Fowler/Williams/Kneeland - if a value falls to them in round 2 or 3 then yes, otherwise no
DT - Smith/Osa/Rogers/Thomas - could use someone
LB - Overshown/Liufau/Sanborn/Murray Jr - always seems to be a low priority, maybe a 6th or 7th rounder on a special teams ace
CB - Diggs/Bland/Mukuama/Carson/Elam/Goodwin - need top 2 to stay healthy
S - Hooker/Wilson/Bell/Thomas - not a big need here

They have flexibility with 10 picks to move around and grab guys they really want. They'll get
1st round - WR or OL
2nd round - RB or BPA
3rd round - OL or BPA
Remaining pick priorities Another WR, Another OL, DL, LB, LB, QB

TE

1. B Kincaid , most of the talking heads around here thought Kincaid would catch 80+balls last season ...Have to wonder if he had some undocumented injuries last season and he seemed a little hesitant running left and fighting for contested balls ...Expecting a big season out of Kincaid in 25

2. KNOX. B- Thought they way over paid when they resigned him 2 years ago ..Much better blocker than Kincaid, seems to catch the tough ones and drops the easier balls ..

Really appreciate this list ...Going to a draft party tonight where there will be several Cowboys fans attending ...Looking forward to using your post in discussions

Dolphins have too many needs to even list...I see a lot of projections have them taking a DB in the 1st round which is a need. However, both of their lines are fairly subpar and with OT Armstead retiring and Tua still the QB, I think that should be their focus though I wouldn't object to a DL either if the value falls their way. Either way, save for Buffalo, the AFCe looks pretty sorry and I wouldn't be surprised at all if NE grabs 2nd place and even competes for a WC spot.

OT.

LT. A. Dawkins. Plays with a major chip on his shoulder as he believes he has deserved to be regarded as a top 3 LT for some time now.

RT. B- S Brown. One of Beane's best picks as a 3rd rounder in 2021 ...Sometimes he takes bad penalties in bunches but his pass and run blocking are a major key to the Bills success as Allen loves to roll right.

Depth. B- Van DeMark might start for at least 10 teams in the league. When he is pressed into action he does a very good job at either tackle position..

Two 2nd year players man the other backup spots. Both are viewed as projects and hopefully don't see the field anytime soon ...It's believed that starting RG Torrence would be the next tackle up if any of the top 3 are injured ..

LG. B- David Edwards was rock solid last season

RG. B+. Torrence from the eye test he looks like one of the most underrated lineman in the league ...

C. B- McGovern. This might be too high of a grade but he sure did gel well with the rest of the line ...

Interior Depth. A-
Alec Anderson is a mean nasty mammoth that plays with piss and vinegar, often brought in as an extra lineman who the Bills sometimes use in motion ..

Van Pan Granger C/G. Last year's 5th round pick was frequently mentioned by the Offers I've coaches as someone who was working hard and getting better after 8..

D LINE
Here's where a major problem is , DT #2 and #3 are 2 of the weakest links on the team ...And it's not even close ...THE BILLS BETTER DRAFT Some BEEF at DT , my hopes are at least 2 in this weekend's draft....Hopefully both weight 330+ lbs .

DT #1. B. Ed Oliver Think he's one of the more overrated D lineman in the game.. He'll make a big play behind the line of scrimmage every now and again , but is prone to getting man handled by better guards. He looks decent vs the trash lines but disappears otherwise....The B grade might too generous...

DT. #2. F. Da Faq is Daquan Jones still doing on this team ...Sure they're desperate for a big body , but after the first drive this dude might as well catch an Uber home and save the embarrassment....

DT. #3. D+. DeWayne Carter flashed some play making ability early last season , but the then rookie was either hurt and or looked like he regressed ....

DT. #4. C- Larry Ogunjobi. Was happy when he signed a 1 yr deal , then we all found out he was suspended the first 6 games ....Ouch .....

DE. #1. B+. Greg Rousseau just keeps progressing , which is impressive bc he's seen more and more double teams over the last 2 seasons .....

DE. #2. C? Oh man is there anyway Joey Bosa can stay healthy or at least still be in one piece when the playoffs begin ??? I probably have a better chance of inventing a time machine ...Either way the 1 year deal is worth it

DE #3. C+. AJ Epenesa. Solid depth piece who might be starter worthy on teams that have better players than the bills at the other 3 spots ..To be honest I'm shocked he hasn't been dealt..Makes just enough plays to stick around ..

DE. #4. B. Michael Hoecht. This is my favorite off-season move the BILLS made ...A Swiss army knife who lines up all over the place including at slot corner ( just crazy ) ....Perfect player for McDermott's defense ...Too bad he's suspended for 6 games ....

DE #5. C-. Jovon Solomon. Really showed flashes of being a diamond in the rough as a 5th round pick last season ..Worried he doesn't make the squad and then flourishes elsewhere ..

LOL, the Falcons always need a pass rusher but yet, they literally never draft one. Philosophically, as an organization, they must think they can scheme pressure...it's almost uncanny how they refuse to draft a DE/OLB.

Yep only the Falcons would give a QB $150 million and then draft a QB at #9 pick a few weeks later.

The secondary ....
Im hoping they hammer the CB position in the draft take 2 , 3 or even 4 I don't care ...

CB #1. A- Christian Benford made plays from day 1 as a rookie 6th round pick ..Mafia was shocked when he beat out 1st round pick Kair Elam for a starting spot in year 1...Then we witnessed the horror that was Elam trying to play football , im not sure that scrub would make my daughter's high school flag football team , and I'm not sure anyone gets cut ... Benford resigned this off-season , appears to have given the bills a hometown discount....

Slot Corner. A- Taron Johnson is often regarded as a top 3 slot corner in the league ...

CB. #2. ? D- There is no way they brought Tre White back for anything other than mentoring the incoming young bucks and the cool Goalie camp t shirts ... That being said even an old broken white is better than Elam at his best ....Highly doubtful he plays more than 6 plays a game unless they put 8 in the secondary lol .

CB. #3. C- Jemarcus Ingram was decent when he saw the field last season ...Played his way on to the roster last season making lots of play around the ball in camp and preseason games. Id be much happier if he was cb 4 or 5.

CB. #4. D. They brought Dane Jackson back ..Sure he knows the schemes but I thought he was washed up when he left 2 year ago ...

SS. #1. B. Taylor Rapp
Lays the lumber , key piece of this defense ... Unfortunately he's missed the last 2 playoff games vs the Chiefs....

#2. C. Cole Bishop.
Decent tackler but hopefully we see a big step forward in coverage/zone read skill in year 2 .

FS. C+. Hamlin.
Not bad in the zone , absolutely horrible make up speed , tackles wildly as evident of when he concussed Benford in the Chiefs loss ..

#2. D+. Forest
Supposedly the former Washington football team player is the first in the building during the off season.

It’s laughable to hear the Rams want to trade up for a TE and McVay has zero history of using the TE in his offense outside of blocking and a couple targets. I think the Rams are in a position to take the best available athlete at 26 unless they have a trade partner to move back.

Check this out. ESPN just showed Sheduer is -600 and Dart is -500 to go in the 1st round. The college gameday panel said they’d bet under 2.5 QBs taken in the 1st round. Do they not understand odds?

Under is traditionally a great bet. I've seen the line of thought that Sanders could fall out of the 1st round and Dart at 2nd QB is very smart.

I don't know anymore these teams panic for QBs ...Still can't believe the Falcons drafted Penis at #9 last year .....
Nothing would shock me ...

As far as team needs, unless there is something Monti feels is can't miss at 16 I hope the Cards trade down and get more picks. Need depth more than anything after some pretty quality pickups in free agency to address the lack of a pass rush.

Linebackers

WLB. B Matt Milano gave the Bills back a bunch of cap room this off-season ...This is most likely his last season here, maybe one more but I doubt ....One of the better coverage linebackers in the league , the issue is often injured and getting grey in the tooth ..

WLB #2 . B. Dorian Williams quietly led the team in tackles ....Filled in very well for Milano and gave a big spark when the BILLS went to 3 linebackers vs Ravens/running teams ...

MLB. A- Bernard the best player on the BILLS defense imo ...Always around the ball ...

Other reserves. D+
Buffalo Joe who walked on last year was a cool story, decent on special teams but an upgrade is warranted ..

Baylon Spector. Too many injuries ...Slow feet

Ulofoshio. Solid on special teams

Patriots win total over is one of my favorite futures right now ...

I like the Grant pick for the Phins...They better pepper OL CB/S later in the draft ..

Love the first round pick of speedy corner Maxwell Hairston ....Bills have been desperate for top end speed in the secondary for more than a decade.

All the talking heads here thought the BILLS were going to trade up to the early 20's to draft Will Johnson. Meanwhile Johnson didn't even get drafted in round 1 .

BILLS NEEDS DAY 2

Rounds 2-3 currently have Round 2 pick 24 and pick 30 ....No picks in round 3 although that should change with them having plenty of capital round 4 picks 7 and 30 , round 5 pick 33,34,37 , round 6 picks 1,30 ....

DT.

* Darius Alexander Toledo

* TJ Sanders South Carolina

Shemar Turner. A&M

* Alfred Collins. Texas exact mold of what Bills Need 6-6 332lb.

Omarr Norman-Lott Tennessee
Joshua Farmer. Florida State

*Deon Walker Kentucky

JJ Pegues. Ole Miss

Safety

* Nick Emmanwori. South Carolina
Surprised he is still on the board ..Would imagine the Bills would need to trade into the top 5 of the 2nd round to get him .. Doubtful it happen .

*Xavier Watts. Notre Dame
Could really use his ball hawking skills( 13 ints and 13 PBU over last 2 seasons)

*Jonas Sanker. Virginia
Like Hairston the Bills really need some speed in the secondary..

*Andrew Mukuba Texas
Another ball hawk

*. Kevin Winston. Penn State
Probably would have been a 1st round pick had he not missed all of last season

EDGE

*Mike Green. Marshall
Fits a mold the Bills like with a edge rusher that can drop into coverage ...Led FBS with 17 sacks last season

* Donovan Ezeiruaku. BC
Extremely quick 3 cone drill ..
16.5 sacks last season

Jordan Burch. Oregon
Might be a little stiff for the Bills liking

* JT TOIUMOLOUA. Ohio st
