Getting back on the horse a little bit. Had a profitable Open Championship after trending down for about a month or so. How can I not take Tiger in my one and done? My other choices are Rory or Rahm, and I've already marked Rory for the PGA.

Matchups this week. A little more juice than I prefer so we'll see what happens.

Scott -135 vs Sergio - Sergio is auto-fade for me right now. Scott is a past champ here and has been quietly putting together some good results
Olesen -125 vs Kisner
JT EV vs Stenson - Think the course may favor Stenson's ball striking compared to JT, but banking on the injury affecting his game
Rose -150 vs Spieth
Reed -110 vs Finau
Rahm -110 vs Day

50 of the top 50 in the World.

You gotta love this event.

This is the last year at Firestone, right?

Yes, TPC Southwind in 2019.

Going from one uninteresting course to a worse venue. I guess FedEx made some demands after years of dumping millions upon millions into the tour. Memphis in August is going to be awesome

WGC-Bridgestone tourney match play bets (bet/return)
Bryson DeChambeau even over Patrick Cantlay (50/100)
Byeong-Hun An +110 over Marc Leishman (50/105)
Tommy Fleetwood -110 over Brooks Koepka (55/105)
Kevin Na +110 over Kevin Kisner (50/105)
Justin Rose -110 over Tiger Woods (55/105)
Thorbjorn Olesen -110 over Sergio Garcia (50/105)
Francesco Molinari -110 over Jason Day (55/105)
Xander Schauffele even over Bubba Watson (50/100)
Jordan Spieth +110 over Rickie Fowler (50/105)

note: Euro Tour web site "fantasy three" for this week (they are usually pretty good)

Favourite: Paul Casey
Form Horse: Thorbjorn Olesen
Wildcard: Russell Knox

Rat I've got to ask.. Why the love for Rahm? I really thought he was going to take a step forward after the Masters this year, yet he continuously disappoints in the big events. I of course realize this isn't a major but his current form in big events isn't exactly noteworthy. He really let me down in the US Open... Perhaps I'm just bitter

well because "Rahmbo" when he is ON his game can dominate a tourney and shoot "wicked low". BUT when he is SPRAYING like his 2nd round at The Open Championship two week ago, he IS the "Rahm-a-lama Ding Dong" . hopefully his girl friend Kelley Cahill "straitened out his putz" the last two weeks" and he is ready to play.

NOTE: like other WGC events, the Bridgestone is a NO CUT tourney :)

found Alex Noren 35-1 (20/720) "to win" @ Cantor Gaming so added him. T-17th British Open [-2] WIN Open de France [-7] T-3rd BMW PGA [-14]. solo 3rd Honda [-7] solo 2nd Torrey Pines [-10] playoff. like "The Mole" he is usually very good on tight courses :shake:

looks like Justin Rose has WD on Tuesday pre-tourney. saw NO reason given BUT his "to win" odds OFF at Westgate. the Rose over Woods tourney match play a refund :(

well I am FUKKING FUKKED this tourney. ALL my tourney match plays either closed out or wicked tight and my "to win" bets ALL done. that cocker spaniel looking cocksucker Tommy Fleetwood needs to "GET a HAIRCUT and GET a REAL JOB!!!". already bet a bunch of my "cats & dogs" for next weeks PGA but will play NO tourney match plays or props. just have NO luck with match plays lately

final round [3rd round/tourney scores] adjusted "to win" odds
1st
Justin Thomas [-3/-14] -150
T-2nd
Rory McIlroy [-3/-11] 3-1
Ian Poulter
[even/-11] 9-1
4th
Jason Day [-1/-10] 9-1
T-5th
Marc Leishman [-3/-9] 30-1
Kyle Stanley
[even/-9] 40-1
T-7th
Rickie Fowler [-5/-8] 40-1
Jon Rahm
[-2/-8] 40-1
T-9th
Tommy Fleetwood [+4/-7] 100-1
Louis Oosthuizen
[-1/-7] 100-1
T-11th
Rafael Cabrera-Bello [-1/-6] 50-1 (field)
Patrick Cantlay [-2/-6] 300-1
Si Woo Kim
[+2/-6] 300-1
Brooks Koepka [-2/-6] 200-1
Anirban Lahiri
[-1/-6] 50-1 (field)
Luke List [+1/-6] 200-1

Justin Thomas with [-6] [-5] & [-3] rounds so far. I do NOT see him "coming back to the field" which means someone 3, 4 or 5 back would have to shoot a "bomber" to beat him. "The Poulter-geist" with a [-8] 1st round and Kyle Stanley "Steamer" with a [-7] 1st round BUT I do NOT see either of them repeating on Sunday. Rory McIlroy can shoot "wicked low" when he gets going BUT final rounds have NOT been his "thing" this season

just "hold your nose" and bet Justin Thomas "to win" -150

DJ is just scorching so far... 7 under through 10.

Ya Dustin Johnson SCARING me!!! [-7] for tourney [-11] thru #17. Justin Thomas still in the lead [even] for [-14] thru #9. they did NOT have an adjusted final round odds on DJ at either Westgate or William-Hill. at [-4] 10 shots back after 3rd round would have been probably like 300-1

my "Great Dane" Thobjorn Olesen with a good finish final round [-6] for [-10] I have Thor 150-1 (7/1057) "to win" for next week

the "Stanley Steamer" making a move. just birdied #12 for [-3] and tourney [-12] two behind Thomas

I can NOT believe Leishman and Stanley "Steamer" they BOTH should try out for an NHL team. "playing hockey" on the greens MISSING "gimme" putts!!!

god damn Tommy Fleetwood just KILLED me. the prick was tied for the lead [-11] after the 2nd round and had a SEVEN shot lead on Brooks Koepka. end up [-6] with 3rd round [+4] and final [+1] vs Koepka [-9]. "GET a HAIRCUT and GET a REAL JOB" you Cocker Spaniel looking ASSHOLE!!!

I go 2-6 in tourney match plays this week. "The Mole" WIN the British Open goes [+1] T-39th this week ??? "X" T-2nd British Open ends up [+12] 68th ??? An 2nd Canadian Open shoots [+4] T-57th ??? Spieth was [+5] T-60th ??? just goes to show you do NOT know WHAT these "pampered poodles" will do one week to the next OR one round to the next. it is fukking IMPOSSABLE to HANDICAP this SHIT!!! at least the Justin Thomas final round "to win" will get me some money back

Good call on the hold your nose pick, never really challenged.

Surprised at Xander collapsing today.
Molinari has to be feeling pretty spent emotionally. He went john Deere then overnight and battles for The Open win then WGC now on to the PGA.
Not sure what to make of Fleetwood but he still has lots of game.
Spieth like a roller coaster, but he does have the PGA to make it a career Grand Slam.
Would play him to win but don't think he trusts where the ball is going like he used to. DJ and JT and a few others know where and how far consistently.

Ya something FINALLY worked out this week the way I called it BUT still got CLOBBERED on tourney match plays. I think I will STAY AWAY from those for the PGA Championship :nonofinger:

Justin Thomas WIN [-1] for tourney [-15] he is 15-1 next week
Kyle Stanley solo 2nd [-2] for [-11] (I have him @ 150-1 ( 7/1057) next week)
DJ and Thor Olesen T-3rd both [-6] for [-10] (have Thor 150-1 (7/1057) and thinking of a small press @ 100-1)
Brooks Koepka could be a "hot" next week with his [-3] finish for [-9] solo 5th BUT 20-1 next week looks low. remember he was a CUT @ Canadian Open which is why I bet against him vs Fleetwood who SUCKED the 3rd and 4th rounds. also a 3rd round CUT at Open Championship
two interesting "cats & dogs" T-6th with Rory McIlroy [+3] for [-8]. Anirban Lahiri [-2] and Aaron Wise [-3] they are 250-1 and 200-1 next week. Rory just can NOT finish in big tourneys this season. fell off in Masters AND Open Championship. CUT at US Open
somewhat surprised "The Poulter-geist" blew up Sunday with a [+4] to finish T-10th [-7] with Jason Day [+3], Tony Finau [-2] and Si Woo Kim [-1]. "Woo Who ???" is 200-1 next week
