Thoughts on him coming back to play? To be honest, I thought he could have helped nearly every playoff contender.

I think he is one of the top 5 wide receivers of the past decade. The drop in the super bowl killed his chances of maybe being the best of the decade.:shake:

I think many will say he's past his prime, probably by a lot. Throw in the fact that he is essentially one hit away from being dead, let alone out of a game, and you'd have to imagine his willingness to do what made him successful in the first place (going over the middle and getting 'tough' yards) is all but gone.

whatever doctor said its ok for him to resume his career is going to be shitting his pants every week. Welker isa great dude and a great player. I remember when he was a scrappy dude on those crappy dolphins teams, and i remember when as a no--name rookie he made sportscenter bc he kicked a fg when their kicker got hurt. great career. but time for him to hang it up, its not worth it. Dudes gonna be eating out of a feeding tube within 10 years
