Interesting start to the season. We still need another week or two to get a true feel on some of these teams imo.
The Pats are just a machine at this point. I've seen enough and will get more involved with them. I thought the bills D could hold them 'somewhat' today but not at all.
The Giants have to be totally deflated after today. That is as rough of a way to start a season when you really should be 2-0. I think the 9th life for Coughlin is reaching its end.
Credit to Gruvs boy AB. That guy is just great. That football factory that is Central Michigan, lol.
Regression to the mean, to borrow a term for Marcus today. He'll be okay though with ups and downs.
JFF made some JFF plays. Good for him.
Jaboo looked real solid. That is a nice rebound for him but the Saints are awful. That line was a huge overreaction and also played into the 'Aints reputation. Is that 5 straight losses at home?
NFC Norris has two dogs right now, the Bears and Lions. More on the Lions later.
The revenge angle for GB was great here...hit ML as an action play. Jordy may be gone but when you got A-A-Ron under center you simply always have a chance to do anything.
The Philly offense looks sharp, lol. Poor Demarco.
Dallas is 2-0 but those are two huge injuries. I have no clue what to think of that division. That will be the interesting thing going forward. I guess the Boys just need to tread water and see if they get them both back and in form for a December push.
The Rams are an enigma as always.
Matt Jones? lol, didn't even know he made the league.
Saw nothing in the late game upsets fwiw...
Okay, back to my Lions...
This team sucks, lol. I can totally cherish last year with that defense. I have never seen anything like it in my lifetime and prolly won't again from this franchise. It was a fitting end to the season with the ref mugging in Dallas. And now here we are. It was a brutal schedule to start and they had to split those first two roadies but could not but it doesn't matter. The O-Line seemed to be improving in camp but has not. The play-calling reminded me of pre-Caldwell. There were 53 pass attempts. Comeone now, they were really never totally out of it till middle fourth. Either way, this team is not good and really miss DeAndre Levy on defense. He accounts for so much.
I will say this though...in typical Detroit Lions fashion it would be no suprise if they win next Sunday night. I said it here first and WON't put my money where my mouth is.
Okay, what say you?
