I expect Auburn to be a pretty bad football team, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. I don't see them scoring north of 14 points. Auburn has no shot of scoring with Clemson in this one. 38-10 sounds about right.

Lots of shit happens in the final few wks leading up to the 1st wk of college ball and I hate to lay down on to early but feel good about what I read in the tms local papers on what I have played.

Senior running back Jovon Robinson has been dismissed from the team on Wednesday as Auburn started their first fall practice this week.
"Did not meet expectations of what it takes to be an Auburn Tiger," Malzahn said to reporters according to seccountry.com.


Malzahn did not go into any detail for the reason for the dismissal. He had an ankle injury early last season according to multiple reports but came on strong and had several 90+ yard games at the end of the season.
Robinson rushed for 639 yards and three touchdowns in 2015 and was MVP in the Birmingham Bowl. The new starting running back might be Kerryon Johnson who had 52 carries for 208 yards last season.
To make matters worse, Auburn freshman WR Kyle Davis is out indefinitely with foot injury.
I think Aub will al kinds of trouble with Clem's #1 rated WR's. It could really get ugly if Dabo wants

There is simply no way Auburn's offense - which basically has to replace every single skill position - will be remotely prepared for what they will face on opening day. Auburn would really benefit from having one of those schedules where they play two or three cupcakes to start season. Unfortunately for them, they won't be afforded that luxury.

My question is, how will Auburn score in this game? I don't see them methodically driving down the field. While I give Auburn credit for scoring one touchdown and one field goal, I would not be totally shocked to see a shutout here.

Conversely, Clemson's offense really should not have much trouble getting into the 30s.

Auburn's strength is in the trenches on both sides of the ball, but I don't even see an advantage for them there because Clemson is more than capable of matching up with them at the point of attack.

Auburn may be able to keep this game close for a little while, but ultimately Clemson is going pull away and cruise to a comfortable victory. Even though we're talking about laying road chalk with an ACC team playing at a SEC venue, I think laying anything under two touchdowns is a gift.

jimmy i agree with this logic 100%. a ton of ppl seem to be on clemson. but here is my question: why is the line so low??? this seems to be BEGGING for clemson money no? Line should be about 10 maybe even 10.5 for 50/50 action. In situations like this, I generally like to be with Vegas' side
