2008 Season is here fellas:cheers:
I'm late as shit to the party- been messing around too much and too long with bases, time to move the hell on already. Let's get down to it...

1 unit = $50
Goal for season is to gradually increase that and increase 300%fold by the time bowl season comes.

All plays are to win 1 unit this week, It’s only week one and I’m going to tread lightly and flat bet this card…. nothing REALLY stands out to me as a sure winner or value ML dog. It will vary from week to week.
AFA was my ML dog of the year last year, everyone has a couple that they rode, but certainly wont be this year- they blow lol.

Well now OU has been bet up to -145 and I may just take Mizzou to win big12 and hedge or make moves when the time comes. At -110 I was all over OU and a good middle spot but I missed it.

OSU is now -250 as well to win the big 10 was a solid bet. Really missed out on some good investment opportunities that I see some of you all capatilized on. Waited too long.<o></o>

Any others just ask me and I’ll explain my choice no problem, wil get more time to post tomorrow.

Florida 1H, Kansas 1H, and TTU 1H (someone on here I think it was SHSUhorn mentioned this one)…
All look tasty. Will probably play two of those three listed.
FIU already got spanked in the opener against KU last year 55-6, gave up 618 yards and is 0-3 against big 12 in openers (don’t have the ATS number at moment), outscored by an average score of 26 points last year, I can see Kansas winning this one big again. Last year was their first BCS win ever and I don’t see them letting up in their home opener.
KU was +21 in turnovers last year which was a big reason for their success, lot of short fields.
Gata’s are exceptional in openers winning by an average margin of 36 (funny the spread is 35.5 now) , and 5-0 against the WAC winning by average margin of 43.

I think we can all agree here there should be a lot of short fields in the UF game also…
I really don’t see any way Hawaii is going to move the ball here.
Graunke’s issues really fucked this team over as that’s a HUGE loss for them.
HG said hawaii’s starting that 4<sup>th</sup> stringer transfer Rausch, from junior college-“the college of the desert”, and since I don’t even know where the fuck that is I’m going to guess the kid’s going to have a tough time in his first game at the SWAMP!
Jones is gone- Hawaii Loses their top 4 wideouts, returns only 8 starters, and this JC QB has to step in now. It doesn’t look good for them early on. Inexperienced secondayry is going to hurt them too.

can anyone talk me off rice tomorrow?

i actually have chalked that one up in as a loss in my mind all day today, which is why i actually posted 4-2 above until i edited (although the units were correct at +3.0), when i was really 4-1. i feel like its a loss already

home team is 10-2 ATS in last 12, and with these offenses- the last 5 matchups between the two (barring 1) have been shootouts so im not worried about laying the 3 too much.

steele has been ranting about SMU in his mag and is so confident that june jones can turn this program around. SMU was already running a similar run-n-shoot offense to the one he was employing at hawaii so i dont think theyll take too long to get adjusted....

although im surprised that he didnt feel willis was the right man for the QB job.... and that he is rolling with bo mitchell, the freshman. so advantage there to rice and the senior clement who had a great year last year.
that makes me feel better and while SMU may have a good year it may take a couple games for the frosh to settle in and develop a rhythm

gators 1st half is at -21 (-115). i really diddnt want to lay more then 20 here so may lay off.
5dimes is being Yag and putting texas tech in the "college extra' category so they wont give me a 1H line. i may lay the -39 here instead.

0-2 so far today. still got a couple games to go though.
VAtech moose was kinda brutal, lose by 1 point after the #1 special teams unit in the country allows a blocked punt with 2 min left. Oh well.

this shit is all about what you put into it. i didnt play kansas -TTU or -florida, all winners, and we even discussed them above.
the last 2 days ive been "celebrating" my bday (the big celebration is tonight). which is why i havent been around much on here
i didnt put the work in/lock in on the bets, did 90% of the work, pussed out, was going out drinking and i passed on some winners.

Mizzou ML -360--- Risking 5 units to win 1.38

Big play, very unorthodox for me. but i just think chase is going to be able to throw all over this unexperienced secondary. even last year they gave up 245 a game through the air and 17.3 yards per pass. and theyve certainly digressed since then.

Theyve won 6 straight openers by an average margin of 21 points,
illinois lost their last 3 in stlouis.
even with the HUGE loss of lorenzo williams upfront,illinois still return 6 of their top 8 upfront. this team only allowed 3.5 ypc last year... illinois lost a lot of depth on their o-line and missouri can surely win the war upfront here and keep juice williams honest tonight.

i know i will probably get shit for the big chalk ML play, and i dont usualyl lay that as youve all seeen from bases..... but i just think there is a huge mismatch in talent this y ear and mizzou should blow the doors off this one.
