I think they either had a game earlier this year or maybe last that was only on peacock.

Yeah he does Stadium games. I forget which one earlier this year he was on I watched, but I like it. He talks about the alignments, the strategy of play calls and personnel in a way that appeals to how I want the game covered.

Agree, Davie is solid without any of the shtick or nonsense.

I know it's hard to avoid with Herbstreit and Ohio State games but not sure it's a good idea to assign McDonough to Syracuse games. I don't think he was overly unbiased, at all. His criticism of Babers' clock management was warranted. But it was belabored and you could clearly hear a Syracuse alum voicing his disenchantment with their coach and that's not a good optic.

There is no bigger fan of McDonough than me. Probably just best to keep him assigned elsewhere.

Agreed. Not saying he was a blatant homer but it was noticeable.

It's tough for Cuse games because a bunch of ESPN/ABC guys went there

Yeah, not an easy road to navigate. But McDonough is especially passionate and I'm guessing it's not easy, for him, to do a Syracuse game, especially of that magnitude.

But it was a top tier game and he's one of the top-tier pxp guys.

He and Pasch both went to Syracuse, makes sense since their journalism program is elite and Bristol isn't far away.
