Friday Primetime for Beth. How will I fill my noon Saturday spot now?

Is this Tom Herman's debut? Hope he had to watch copious amounts of NM offense on tape this week.

That's a sneaky intriguing Fri Night slate. Utsa MTSU should be fun.

Tulane/Hou, UTSA/MTSU, UW/UCLA are all fascinating games

Then there's the Mountain West

With a Sunday noon spot.

They've done stuff like this before.

Some days ESPN doesn't have enough channels for the FBS games they are contracted for, other times like today they are airing the identical broadcast of UK-Ole Miss on SEC Network and main ESPN

Honestly she isn't as bad as alot of them. Quality is lacking these days. After listening to McDonough, it's a big letdown hearing anyone else.

I don't know if Beth knows what she is talking about or not. I just can't get past that voice so I never get a chance to absorb anything.

And yes on McDonough. The best in the business.

His crew was rough yesterday though. Listening to Kentucky/Ole Miss was nothing short of remedial listening. They were gawdawful. Was like they were given a script to pump up Levis for the draft regardless of what he was doing on the field. JROCK's commentary during the game was spot on. It was cringe worthy.

Pretty sure Beth was a radio voice of the Raiders for quite a while, not like she's new to the business.

Yeah, Beth's been around. But so has Danielson. And Brando. And Desmond. And a few others.

I could be missing something but I didn't hear anything unusual with the Ole Miss broadcast. McDonough always captures the gravity of big plays so well, especially that last fumble by Levis.

Every time Levis would make a play they'd pump him up as a top 3 pick

Every time he wouldn't, they'd make an excuse as to why he'll be a top 3 pick. It was attrocious.

I love McDonough too, just seemed scripted yesterday.

These days, while there are a few pros I really do like, some of the guys who do the streaming games and the FCS games seem more genuine about just straight forward broadcasting the game and the action, not telling us how good or how fast or how much athletic ability some player has. Sometimes the main network broadcasters just have so much fluff to their deliveries and I feel they try to make it about the individuals more than the game.
