Had an interesting week four. For once, i was prepared when the lines were released. Made my first 10 plays of the week on Sunday afternoon/evening. Those plays went 9-1, with the one loss being Penn St...which, in hindsight, was a trap and a half. Then on thursday & friday nights, i made the 6 additions to my week 4 card. Those went a lovely 1-5, with Cal (thx to dr bob's line movement) being the only win. Guess the moral of the story is that i should avoid late week additions, lol.

Anyways, onto this new week. Got a helluva late start, as i was w/out a comp for the weekend...but i've spent the last 3 nights trying to catch up. And besides, i wanted to get my plays in tonight...before dr bob did his thing tomorrow.
As far as this week's card, it's another large one...in terms of # of plays, but not # of units. There's lots of games i like quite a bit...just not much at all that i'm in love with this week, at least yet. And believe it or not, this is throwing out a half dozen strong leans. That said, i'm sure the doctor will have me adding a couple more plays later in the week...providing he picks the wrong side, and i get the right kinda line movement, lol.

Thursday, 9/27

Arkansas St (-4) over Memphis (-110) for 1 unit
Memphis/Arkansas St under 61.5 (-110) for 1 unit
Boise St (-10) over So Mississippi (-110) for 1 unit

Friday, 9/28

(no play yet. got my hopes up that the good doctor will be moving this line tomorrow afternoon.)

Saturday, 9/29

Akron/Connecticut over 43 (-110) for 1 unit
Indiana/Iowa over 44 (-110) for 1 unit
Oregon (-5.5) over California (-110) for 1.5 units
Oregon St (-1.5) over UCLA (-110) for 1 unit
UCLA/Oregon St under 55 (-110) for 1 unit
Illinois (+3) over Penn St (-110) for 1 unit
Michigan St/Wisconsin over 45.5 (-110) for 1 unit
Kansas St (+14.5) over Texas (-110) for 1 unit
Colorado St (+10) over TCU (-110) for 1 unit
Vanderbilt (-20.5) over E Michigan (-110) for 1.5 units
Houston (-10.5) over E Carolina (-110) for 1 unit
Louisville (-9) over N Carolina St (-110) for 1.5 units
Maryland/Rutgers over 46 (-110) for 1 unit
Cincinnati (-14) over San Diego St (-110) for 1.5 units

I'll be back later with some brief thoughts on all these plays. Told ya i liked a lot, albeit small, this week. But anyhow, gonna call this my diversified portfolio for week five.

BOL this week.

I think this is the first week I can honestly say I'm not with you on anything, Yanks. :(

Going the other way with Penn St. :box:

GL this week bro!

Thx, BAR...thx, BigRak.

Aztec...yikes. Don't like to hear that, as we seem to mostly be on the same page. You're not on SDST are you?
:hang:

Well...1-1-1 on thursday night. A tale of 2 halves though, in the non-televised game. If Arky St doesn't have a pathetic 1st half, coulda easily been a 3-0 start to the week...but shit happens.

Anyways, no additions for the Friday nite game. Dr bob's opinion didn't move the line much...and i think it's all set jsut about right, as i cap the thing as a 31-24 win for WVU.

Will look at Saturday a bit more though tomorrow nite...in case i like any of the line movement. but for the most part, i like dr bob's plays this week...and he pretty much moved a few leans of mine into definite no plays.

Yanks--You have any thoughts on that Cincy game? I really want to play SDSU, but I'm seeing others playing Cincinnati and I'd really like to know more. Seems like a terrible spot for the Bearcats imo. Good luck with the rest of the card this week. Definitely looks we'll be together on a few of them.

final results for the week

JPicks...sorry, bro. Haven't been on the site since thurs nite, so i never saw your question. Hope we nailed what we had in common though.

Ray, LJC...thx, guys.

BAR...thx for throwing up my final play.
And yeah...it was a pretty good day. Just wish i woulda went with the gut, and faded Porky Pig...rather than add the thing late.
