THURSDAY
CIN regrouped after losing the first two to PIT & DAL. Burrow seems back on track. The Bengals still have a ways to go, notably with their o-line, which allowed 55 sacks a year ago and 15 already this season. Slow starts have plagued CIN this season, being outscored 43-29 in 1H. However, the Bengals may be catching the Fish at the right time, following a physically and mentally draining, 21-19 win over rival BUF in the scorching S.Fla heat a week ago. BUF controlled the clock in that game and kept MIA's defense on the field for 42 minutes while running 89 plays. You cannot disregard huge MIA improvements under rookie head coach Mike McDaniel as they've already scored 6 red zone TDs this year or twice as many as all of last year. They're also averaging 6.4 yards per play(2nd in the league). Mostly this can be attributed to the emergence of Tua and the wideout combo of Waddle/Hill who've combined for 40 catches averaging 16.5 yards per...along with 5 TD receptions. Burrow may be the man at home, but Tua is the one with a chip and the Fish are very hungry after many lean years. This game may go either way, but I'm thinking it's very tight, so I'll gladly take the points. 24-21 either way in an exciting "Prime" matchup.
