• MIA secondary may be the worst in the league, plus their o-line is trash as well. Miami has allowed points on opponents’ 1st 10 drives of the season. Yikes. BUF has started strong with 20 unanswered points vs NYJ and then cruised to a 30-10 victory. NFL winless teams are 46-31-9 ATS on Thursdays, including 19-6-1 ATS versus vs teams with winning record, and 13-5-1 ATS as division dogs. Good sense would likely preclude taking the points tonight, but I see almost nothing positive for the fish...so gimme the Bills and lay the lumber as they run it up.

Had back luck in the finish to Eagles game but made it up with Bears somehow staying under 50 after 38 in 1H, plus that +1½ with ARI sure was handy. Overall, a decent day.

• DET 24-8-1 ATS AWAY AFTER SU/ATS WIN L10 YEARS(12-3 SINCE '23)

• Detroit +5½ off demolishing da bears last week 52–21, Goff looked up to 2024 form. Caleb Williams’ miscues left DET with some short fields, but they still piled on with lots of big plays. The defense is another story, giving up big chunks before turnovers flipped momentum. BAL rebounded from week 1 loss at BUD to blowout the Browns 41–17. Defense was more of a key with 3 forced turnovers setting up short TD drives. Lamar did his while complementing D.Henry’s power running, but they still only managed 242 yards. Tonight looks like a shootout with DET passing game putting a test to BAL secondary. The Lions have so many weapons, and Goff’s ability to thrive under pressure...seems Taylor-built to neutralize an aggressive front. Ravens offense should get theirs since no team can hold them down. Even with the high total, both teams offensive firepower and vulnerabilities on D point toward lots of points. I think the Lions got enough to win a shootout, but likely could go either way, which is why I'm backing the cats and the over!
