VT to win Coastal +400
Still no ACC wins but I like where it stands

Might not have any plays up until later in the week but wanted to go ahead and get the accounting part done. Missed openers b/c I was at Falcons Saints game so I'm just gonna wait it out now.

Nice going on fcs stuff last week. :tiphat:

See, I'm tipping my hat to u.

GL this week.

Like Charlotte and the Grizz a lot

Any thoughts on JMU -18, Towson -20.5, or Bobby Mo + 10.5?

Got JMU on the leans list

Don't have either Towson or Bobby Mo on the leans list. Haven't been impressed with Towson thus far. I kind of liked Bobby Mo when I looked over the game so not sure why it didn't make the leans list. I'll look back at it again and it may very well become a play later in the week.

Adding:
Michigan -31 for half unit
Baylor/Buffalo O67.5

Not sure where Michigan is mentally now but PRs said 36.5 so I'm playing it strictly based off of those. That's also why it is only a half unit play

Adding:
Iowa -10 vs Iowa St 0.55-0.50

Iowa St coming off heartbreaker conference opener here. PR play as well. Only playing for half b/c I will have Iowa in a 10 point teaser as well. Still think they have some talent and will get things turned around. Prolly dumb laying this many in a rivalry game but I still have it at 14.5

Adding:
Wyoming +43 at Oregon 0.55-0.50

Mostly a PR play which is why it's just for half unit. I do like the situation side in that Oregon is coming off a game with one of the most physical teams in the country and then starts conference play with a road game next week. However I hate taking points against Oregon. My thought here is that Wyoming can get to 14-17 and I think the quack attack will be plenty happy with getting up 35-40 points and running the clock. Also like the chance for a backdoor here if its 56-7 late.

I hear you. It's just a straight DSU fade. Saw them in person last week, and, OMG (as the kids like to say these days). The Hornets wouldn't be a competitive D2 team. From all indications, Delaware blows too, unless they were just going through the motions in an empty stadium on a Sunday afternoon. Would have played Colgate, but the money was headed the other way, and I don't typically buck the money when it comes to FCS games.

Good info....sorry you had to sit through that UD DSU game my man. Agree about not typically going against FCS money

schrute, if you're ever scared of going against teams like Oregon/Baylor and blowing teams out do you ever just play their tt instead? IMO, if a team is goign to cover large spreads like this they have to score 2-3 posessions, plus their tt will be lined lower against the elites

I do and that's a great point gsro

I may very well add Wyoming TT over here for half as well

Indiana St +17 at Ball St

Don't love this play but a sandwich spot for Ball St coming off a heartbreaking loss against Iowa. Indiana St with a chance to get a win against an intra-state FBS team after having played pretty well in their first 2 games

Adding:
SE La +7 at Tulane
Northern Iowa +5 at Hawaii

Might add ML later on both once it drops

GL this week DS

you see line for Tulane vs SELA?

SELA worth a look, w/o me even knowing the line....

Like most life-long LSU fans, I am from Delaware, went to Virginia and live in Pittsburgh.

Maine Road was a soccer stadium in England. It's now a vacant lot in a slum, much like my soul.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha this is one of my favorite posts on here in a while

Cracked me up twice

Shows what three decades of mismanagement and otherwise taking one's fans and one's status for granted will do. Delaware used to be a top-50 program; now it's picked 6th in conference in which no other team averages half the fans it does (except for JMU, which is on its way up and out). I hear that the number of tickets sold for DSU game that was postponed on Saturday was something like 12,000 - a little better than half what they averaged four years ago. I suspect in a year or two that will seem like a huge crowd in Newark. So sad.

Um, no. Grew up (in Delaware) listening to the Tigers under my pillow at night on WWL. Fell in love with LSU on Thanksgiving night 1973, when they lost to Alabama 21-7 in Tiger Stadium. Indeed, LSU lost the first 13 times I saw them play on television, before finally beating Wake in some crap bowl in Charlie Mac's last game. Went to UVa, but had an LSU helmet lamp on my desk. I sitll have that lamp, by the way. I visited LSU for the first time in 1986, and was wholly unprepared for the question of why, if I loved LSU so much, had I not gone to school there? I'm probably lucky I didn't get punched out, as my response was something along the lines of "[laugh, laugh, laugh] are f-ing kidding?!" I'm not sure it had previously ocurred to me that LSU was a university as well as a football team. That's now a long time ago, and the school has really come a long way. Indeed, it's now become something of a desitination school for some kids from Jesiut and Sacred Heart, not the family shame it would have been 25 years ago. I am actually seriously considering sending my daughter there. She loves it, and it's where Pitch Perfect, one of her favorite films was shot. All good. I have seson tickets in Stadium Club West (200 Level), which comes in really handy when you live in Pittsburgh. I'll be down for Ole Miss and Bama, though. Can't make Auburn work. Some former neighbor's kid is getting married or some such. Grr.
