Although we had some marque game ML's cash, this was pretty much a fav's week to start out the season!

South Florida
Central Michigan
Florida State
LSU
Rice
Fresno State
Miami FL

The dogs that cashed in our first contest week...

So, we're onto week #2, and a lot of times there are overlays from the first week's results. Do we see some spots where the wrong team is favored in a lower spread game?

Who is barking like underdog-wise grabbing a TD or so?

Any DD underdogs worth a shot like Florida State last week?

Pretty funny as I'm on over, I pretty much thought the Kansas defense will determine the game. As in I'm not sure if they can keep Mizzou out of the EZ.

Very true on that end.

But, in order to stay in this game, they must be able to move the ball - score- keep their defense off the field.
 
Aint seen a single person anywhere on the mizz/Kansas under.....but line down 3 since it opened at 53.5.....I think the winner has 24.....Mizzou lost its kicker... so should see some Drinkowitz conservative play calling as usual....

I'm on over and if Mizzou can't score more than 24 against this Kansas defense they will be a play against the rest of the season

I do know the last few years I want nothing to do with overs in Zoo games.

Love ku. Better qb better coach imo.

I’d like uk better if they didn’t win this game last year (or I didn’t watch their offense vs Toledo!), I def like the points with uk but not sure I like them enough for Ml.

I don’t know much bout ucon yet this year. Watched a lot of cuse/vols game, I dunno if Vols offense is better than I realized or cuse d is freakin terrible? I assume cuse offense should be able to put up some points tho cause after a slow start they certainly wernt the issue in Knoxville. How is the ucon offense? 57 seems like a high total from where I typically see for ucon. Maybe over the way to go? Without knowing ucon I will say fading a team who favored w a defense looking like cuse can’t be all bad!!

If it wasn’t for exactly as you said, drink and his disgustingly conservative play calling this seem like a slam dunk over. I can’t get myself to under but total a pass. I do think the fact we know drink gonna do what he does it gonna allow ku to hang in game with a qb I like to at very least hang around and possibly steal the game even if he has to come back late.

I just don’t trust drinkiwitz offenses to come close to their potential. I mean they had 2 nfl wr’s prior seasons and he was all to happy not utilizing them enough until they got down. If they do control the Los on offense it never great for an over. I def understand over I just don’t like drink and I def don’t buy the passing game as much the last few years.
 
Obviously I like ku but I dunno I’ll play ml or just take the points?

Have to read @B.A.R. take on Michigan but as said by Frank I’m all to happy to fade ou.

I’m never right when messing with Baylor games but I think that cause normally after a shit show performance where they let a crappy freese offense kill them by the qb simply running on 75% his drop backs!! I normally would fade or ignore them this week. But the offense did look good, you would think the coaching staff and d are embarrassed. Gotta play Baylor again which will most likely lead to hating myself again!

UVA seems like a solid dog if only cause I dislike nc state coaching staff and couldn’t imagine laying anything with them! Ecu had every chance to tie that game up last week despite nc st out playing them for a large part of the game.

Unlv as small home dog seems reasonable.
 
What I liked most about my Cats last week (and it’s admittedly hard to be objective here) is our defense. We really had a pass rush I have not seen in a while. Soles, Gusta, or Gadson seemed to be in Toledo’s backfield all day. And Alex Afari was all over the field. DC Brad White put together a defensive plan last year to slow down Jackson Hart. This year he has a RSFr. Coming into town and I think BW will give him some looks that will cause some interceptions. We still have a couple of snipers in the defensive backfield. Given all we lost last year I was really impressed with how well our defense looked. I guess I should have been so surprised given Stoops and White have almost always put a good defensive product on the field. The issue of course for us was only 85yds passing. I thought, going into the season, Calzada was under-rated. I watched that aTm/Bama game a few years ago and he was making play after play. Our receivers did not help him early however in the 2nd half Calzada was missing throws by 10+ yards. :oops: Yeah the passing game has got to be better to pull off this win, and we need some turnovers to win. I think there is a good chance we’ll get the turnovers but it’s still left to be seen if Bush Hamdan can get the passing offense going. If we can improve on that then my Cats can win this.
 
LOL....I just thought of a what-if scenario that is a bit comical....Saban has joked about the guy in the gas station not recognizing him after Bama lost to UL-Monroe during his first year. How bad would it get in Tuscaloosa if history repeated itself today and Kalen DeBoer lost to UL-Monroe today??

Just a quick write up about these….my trends I research from killersports heavily favor the dogs in the first three above. The second three’s trends were kinda “meh.” I found some for the dogs and found some for the favs…I wrote up my feelings on my Cats above. 50/50 shot 1 or 2 of these three hit. Army is a complete longshot. My trends heavily favor the fav in this game however none of the favs I researched played in Ireland two weeks ago. I just remember one of the announcers of that game saying a coach told him it would take his team a month to recover from that trip. Can’t remember which coach it was. But, if the effects of that trip are still lingering in Manhattan, KS and the Wildcats play today like they did last week, Army will have a shot at a win. ☮️

Yes I thought ya’ll d was solid, I had Toledo and wasn’t sure even with uk offense not doing much they be able to get cover. D is never really my concern w ya’ll and they typically have backs i like, that makes for a nice team to take points with! If not for last year beating Rebs or seeing too much their offense last week maybe I could on board ml! Lol

My wager is simply a fade of the KU defense. Number in the low 50s was a no-brainer for me regardless who's on the field. Also a quality cat v bird matchup, you know how I feel about those!
