Week 15 What Are We Learning

Cowboys are an executed punt return from being 7-7 and still quite alive for the post-season. Not great but getting dogged against Carolina was a fucking joke. Take THAT betting public.

Are the Bills excited because their offense scored 40+ in back to back road games? Or are they terrified because their defense just gave up 40+ in back to back games?

Still not convinced the Redskin Commanders are any good.

Eagles fooled around a bit but were clearly superior to Pittsburgh.

Mahomes seems to get an ankle rolled this time every year.

Every time I checked in on the Broncos Nix was throwing a pick. Yet they still won 31-13. Broncos and Rams look sneaky dangerous in January.

Handful of people said Redskins were in NFC Champ Game back in early October.

Exciting young team that will get some playoff experience and perhaps provide a 1st half scare to someone.

Chiefs getting points Saturday at home with Wentz at QB

Houston had less than 200 yards today. They played a Dallas team that mailed it in and one half against Detroit. Otherwise they have been baddd since the Patriots game which was ages ago.

Chiefs don’t do a lot to instill confidence for financial decisons, but Houston has been ass for some time and their line is very bad.

I’m not saying I’m taking KC but I think a 5-6 point swing from Mahomes is steep in this spot.

Bills look awesome. D was more concerning last week. If they stay focused they’re going to be tough to beat.

The longer the season goes, the better I feel about the Eagles chances to beat Detroit.

Miami is such a waste of talent. McDaniels just can’t get it done.

Baker continues to sling it. Happy for the dude with all the shit he’s taken.

Buffalo, when they play their A game, might be the best team in the league.

KC wins again but Patty has an ankle injury late in the season… Deja vu? Not impressed at all with their W today. Cleveland played like shit and gave that game away. I like Houston next week.

Pittsburgh is getting exposed. Have always had my doubts about them. They’re probably one and done in playoffs.

Didn’t learn anything about Baltimore today.

Everyone is going to be saying Dallas has life after their W today 😂😂

I don’t know what to make of Washington. No way that game should have been that close.

I would be on KC as home dogs if you were playing QB

I wouldn’t take too much out of the Pittsburgh game. This was the least important game remaining on their schedule. They were without their only WR playmaker again. How they finish the next three games is more important.

Looks like TJ Watt's injury isn't too serious?
They're saying lower ankle sprain at the moment. If it is it happened out of camera view. Internet docs were worried about a possible foot fracture based on the pressure put on as he tried to turn the corner, but Steez said x-rays were negative.

Had a sense of karma to it the way the Steelers were throwing around cheap shots. Here's Minkah trying to give Barkley the Chubb treatment. Barkley got his legs up just in time. Still missed most of the 2nd quarter.

Here James Pierre goes with the hip drop tackle on AJ Brown. Brown also lucky that neither foot grabbed on the turf.

And here's the play Steeler Nation is going to whine all day about, and I am here for it! Washington is 6'7" and blocks 6'0" Slay for 15 yards after the whistle, yet they want a roughing called on Slay for whiffing on his punch attempt. You ever have someone 7 inches taller than you hold you at arms length, or hold someone 7 inches shorter than you away at arms length? You ain't making contact chief. Mmmm those tears are delicious.

Did you watch Howell last night?
Seems some pent up rage in that post so I just looked past it. Guy is likely one of the best backups in the league and might well still be better than a third of the starters lol. But ya know, opinions.

Cowboys do not have life but the networks had to add them to the in the hunt list now that they have the same record as the Niners.

14 penalties....another unforced turnover in the red zone. Their big positive is that the pass rush is back, up to fourth in the league in sacks. And when they get sacks they start to get turnovers.

Of the top 15 teams in turnover differential, 13 are currently inside the playoff bubble. Only the Bears +10 and Bengals +2 have a losing record. Tampa Bay is the only playoff team with a negative differential. -2.

Looks like NBC is OK with Dallas/Tampa for next Sunday night. Cowboys may be a longshot but if Philly beats Washington they will still be alive long enough for the national audience to watch their elimination. You know NBC had that in mind when deciding to keep the game.

Still shocked that Campbell is worse at in game decisions than McDummy.

Guess it came down to which coach would fack it up worse lol ....

The way too early onside kick was an egregious coaching blunder

Howell had the benefit of Bieniemy last year

Howell had the benefit of Bieniemy last year

Apparently he hadn’t been given a playbook this year cause I couldn’t tell he had any clue what the play was! I assume it wasn’t stand back and wait for a pass rusher then fall over! If so they should prob scrap that play. Or somehow throw it to the other team when your players have the brightest most god awful things on! No clue how you throw it to wrong team when your teammates wearing jerseys they could see from space!!

I just heard Purdy expects to be highest paid qb in football. Holy fuck, wish in one hand and shit in the other, is that how the saying goes? If anyone gives that dude more than 30 mil or whatever baker making they in for 4 long miserable years. I assume there not a chance in hell niners would do this?

He's probably racked up tons of debt just living in the Bay Area on his salary at this point

Holy shit could be really be that delusional about his value and abilities??

Didn’t know everyone was so fond of Carson Wentz. I’ll retract a bit. He’s one of the worst quarterbacks in the league. There are certainly other bad ones. And no, I have nothing against Carson. Just calling it as I see it. I will certainly be putting my money where my mouth is this week if he starts.

Dak shouldn't have gotten his and neither should Purdy. He's no better than Bryce young. Put him on Carolina and they still have 3 wins. You see the list of the stars they'll lose if he gets 60. They'll be done for years.

Either him or his agent apparently think incredibly highly of him! I’m pretty big on “know thyself”, I understand to even make it to where he has you prob need a little irrational overconfidence, I’m not gonna lie there been plenty of times in my life I was def feeling myself a bit much, nothing wrong w confidence or even a little overconfidence but this mfer was the last pick in the draft, was blessed to go to a stacked team w a coach who runs a incredibly friendly qb system. You would think even if he thought he was the best there ever was he would consider taking a reasonable price from a team that if not for them he prob never starts a game in this league! We have already seen the falloff when he starts missing some those HOF pieces. I know one thing, there no chance in hell niners even entertain giving this mfer 50 mil, maybe he saw how Ayuk kinda punked them and thinks he can do the same? Id think if he can get baker or cousins money he should be thrilled, this “resetting the market” has to a negotiation ploy? There no way they really think they can get that, is there? All the qb desperate teams around the league should look no further than Dallas and see what happens when you give a avg qb star qb money. You gotta be a force multiplier to get top dog money, he just isn’t that, shanny knows he isn’t that, I assume every gm in the league knows he isn’t that! I’d guess Sam darnold earning himself a nice payday somewhere but more like 4 years 120 mil and id rather have darnold who bigger, stronger, less injury prone, than Purdy. Anyone who gives him more than 30 mil per season is throwing away a chance of winning. Isn’t Baker right around the 30s? I know he kicked up but I’d rather have baker, darnold gonna be a free agent, id give him more than purdy. I dunno, I just couldn’t believe when I heard his goal was to reset the market, I bout spit out my fruity pebbles!

Honestly is losing Monty that big a deal when you still have Gibbs and that o-line? It‘s the defense that worries me

I think he kinda a tone setter for them, gotta worry a bit about how much more work Gibbs will be asked to do. That alone could lesson Gibbs effectiveness but I agree the offense can prob overcome. The d is why they not going to the SB, just don’t think you can win 2-3 games in playoffs out scoring some these really good offenses that do play d.

Oh, and I hope they pay him the 60. Being from San Diego and having gone to Cal Poly SLO when Montana and 49ers started winning SBs I had to listen to all the 49ers crap for 4 years (my argument was Fouts over Montana because Fouts never had a defense behind him LOL). So yeah I hate them. So hope they are foolish enough to do it.

The Niners should follow that up by trading Shanahan to the Jets for our first round pick and bringing back Saleh as his replacement.

Falcons are going to Penix. Lol. What a franchise. $155 million cap hit over the next 3 years for Cousins.
Not sure if I typed it here or in a fantasy chat..

I figured a loss next week and we'd get Penix the final two games.

Looks like they said enough is enough -- last ditch try at division or waving the white flag?.
.
Credit to them for this after a win -- but it was the Raiders (sorry Teeed).

Watching that game plan it was clear they didn't trust Cousins anymore. I think it was enough is enough.

Sometimes it's the team around the QB. Cousins Purdy now Darnold. Pay the wrong QB like Cousins or Dak and your screwed for years.
