Gmen + points look like a play...somewhat concerned about their pass D, but think they take this one in an impt game

initial thoughts:

Home or road, I think the Bears have shown their true colors lately. Pack should win fairly large imo.

Giants on the road in December in a must win game vs a team thats STILL overvalued? sign me up bigggg

One thing about this Tampa Bay team; they are quitters when there is nothing to play for in 2010 they were a surprise team because they were young, excited, and motivated but in 2011 they didnt like how Morris was coaching so they laid down and quit on him. This year they came out of the game motivated with the new coach, but after last weeks loss to Philly, they are pretty much out of playoff contention. I say history repeats itself and they quit. Saints won't quit bc Brees won't let them, and that team has to be fired up after winning their bountygate appeals. NO wins big.

Why are the Rams favored? Prob not touching that game, but I don't get that line.

Not touching Jags/Dolphins.

Ravens are really not a good team, but they hadnt lost at home in 2 years before this year, are they really gonna lose 2 in a row now?

Indy can cover +8 in 2 ways: if they stay with Houston throughout or via backdoor if they dont. I like that.

Panthers +3, as last week was more of a fluke for SD than anything else imo.

How is any team not laying more than 7.5 to Zona. Ill be the square who takes Det -6

Steelers shoudl win and cover.

Chiefs/Raiders? yuck. Altho over 43 looks kinda good. Neither of these teams play d.

Huge MNF fail for the NFL. Jets/Titans? yuk. I guess if you believe in narratives you take the Jets. I feel like the "omg jets are actually gonna make the playoffs" story has wings.

I liked the rams last week and I like them a ton this week, maybe I have them rated way too high.

Same goes for dallas, I have them as a favorite, should probably wait on dez's news, or has something been established yet?

If rg3 is definitely a go, i'll most likely be on them.

Dez Bryant tells Scout.com that "they'd have to break my leg to keep me out" of Sunday's game versus the Steelers.

"It would take more than this to take me out," Bryant said. "No way." Scout.com's Mike Fisher got the sense that Dez was "angry" at the initial determination that doctors wouldn't clear him to play. The Cowboys have said that the decision is Bryant's. He certainly sounds like he's going to splint up the finger and play against an injury-depleted Pittsburgh secondary.

Copied my thoughts from NBA's thread here. I posted this on Tuesday and after sitting on it for a day, will be on Atlanta very big on Sunday. Couldn't script a better setup for this one and while I do think Atlanta is a team that is overrated to a degree, asking them to simply win this one at home is an autobet for me. For you guys who are running to bet NY here, can you tell me how they are going to defend ATL's WRs?

I'm interested in the NYG game. One week does not a season make. The Falcons are back at home where they generally do their thing. Giants despite the score last week, still look a bit off. Eli doesn't seem to be in synch with the receivers. It showed in the Skins game two weeks ago, and it showed during the Saints game. ATL has the receivers to burn the Giants secondary which is clearly NY's weakness. Atlanta is fourth in the league in sacks allowed - so if the Giants aren't able to sack Ryan, the Falcons are going to exploit the hell out of NY's secondary. I like this matchup a ton, and it sets up perfectly with the lopsided scores from last week. Falcons should be a 3-4 pt fave here.

I'm interested in Buffalo too. Sea not ready to be a a 5 point fave to many teams on a neutral site yet in my mind. But, I'm trying to be as objective here as possible and make sure my own head isn't clouding my view. I was WRONG about Russell Wilson. I didn't think he'd amount to shit in the NFL, and so far he has proven me wrong big time. That being said, I can't ignore the fact that Seattle has laid pts on the road three times this year, and lost every game outright. Probably the way to play this is to take Bills ML for 3/4 of your normal sized play.

And, here I am again - looking to fade NE. Kaepernick's biggest test by far. But I would make Frisco a 2.5 pt fave to NE at home, so there's a little bit of value here for the road team.

agree with atl, cant say much more that hasnt already been said, obviously atl has the weapons in the passing gm to expose nyg secondary, would like to see a healthy Samuel but ultimately anytime i can get atl at home laying this small number im taking them and am happy bout it as hard to argue with the track record...

dal gm both defenses banged up if i gotta pick a side im taking tomlin and big ben in a important gm over garrett/romo all day every day, with dal front 7 banged up and pit secondary being held together by tape the over is somewhat appealing to me here, but maybe not so much as i think 44 about right..not sure which i feel is better as i know dal will be incapable of running and will be throwing a ton which while some good things may happen it will also lead to romo mistakes,, on other side dal run d has been getting gashed and they are another man down up front, pit converts 3rd downs and id expect them to be in 3rd and manageable all day which should have them controlling TOP, i trust pit a ton more once they get in the red zone and in the end if this gm close im taking ben over romo and that shit oline...24-20 seems about right but i could see it higher as id expect a lot of passing from dal which always good for a over...
