Week 14 - TV Schedule / Broadcaster Listing

Frank Costanza

Co-Inventor of the Man's Bra
Great slate of games.

- To me, Klatt has distanced himself as not only the best color guy in CFB but the best in all of football. He is just nails with his analysis, overall.
- Thinking about broadcasts today and the advent of the (ex) official in the booth, I come to the same conclusion over and over: Mike Pereira is the best, and it's not close. That guy is always a step ahead of everything - just knows the rules, front and back, and interprets and presents to viewers in a clear and concise fashion. It's very rare that he's wrong on a rules interpretation.
- And if you missed more of that miserable mess that is the ESPN MNF broadcast, here are a few of Booger's best from this past Monday:

• “Tess, in order for Lamar Jackson to win MVP, he will have to convince people he is more valuable than Patrick Mahomes.”

• “If I’m the Rams, I’m gonna force Lamar to have the football. All you gotta do is tackle him!”

• “A false start penalty on second-and-five might actually help the Rams.”

• “The Rams, you know, have yellow uniforms.”

• “America, listen to me now: stop allowing tight ends to block premier pass-rushers one-on-one.”

All actually occurred.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Good luck this weekend.

Just absolutely hate the time slots for Friday.

One game at night? And it's USF-UCF? Last year we had 2 night games (OU-WVU and Apple Cup).

Friday after Thanksgiving was always one of my favorite days of year growing up to watch football. Just not the same with no OU/Nebraska then later on Nebraska/Colorado as well as Texas and A&M being in different conferences now.
Agreed. OU Nebraska was always a like 230 game .... Perfect timing.... In the 90s..I think ABC led in with Purdue Indiana quote a bit at 11am eastern

Those years when OU / NU were playing a 2:30 (1:30 Central) game Texas and A&M were playing at 10 AM local time. Really weird kicking games off that early. I remember going to them and being less than fond of that kick time.

I had to double check but that is right 12;30 am Army at Hawaii. If anyone can do it would be military kids. Has an east coast team kicked off this late before? UH typical games 11-12 but some are earlier for TV. UH getting some payback for having to play noon eastern kicks.

Pretty interesting. Last year Hawaii played at Army. Noon game, which is typical for Army. But that's 6:00 AM Hawaii. Wonder if Hawaii asked if they could kickoff later? Because Hawaii rarely plays 7:30 local time. 6:00 was the latest they kicked this year. Last year Hawaii's home finale was 5:30.

Wow, that’s interesting
