Week 13 What Are We Learning

Think the SB is pretty much down to 5 teams. Obviously lions and Philly in nfc feel like only 2 with a chance. AFC I say kc, bills, or Steelers. I’m sure some will disagree and want to put ravens in but Steelers and kc own the ravens and their d just has to many holes imo. Think the pass d has improved from the dumpster fire they were to start year but brown still had 66 in 1st half then what thought was ravens strength on d against the run hurts and Barkley ran all over them in 2nd half. I just don’t think ravens have the playoff chops to trust them and 2 of the 3 best teams in afc freaking own them. Eventually ya’ll stop sleeping on Steelers!! I know kc would much rather see ravens or even bills, they don’t wanna see Steelers in playoffs!

Not learning, but holy shit jets. How many terrible penalties today. 4 on the 4th q td drive by Seattle. What I get for putting my money on them but that is one sad team
Ulbrich is the worst coach this team has had in a long time which is really saying something.

My Eagles keep rolling. I’m gaining more and more confidence in their ability to possibly take down Detroit for the NFC. Anyone happen to know a hypocritical Detroit vs Philly line?
I’m guessing maybe Detroit-2.5 in Detroit. Eagles -1 in Philly?

There no way you can lay even a fg w ravens against a good team right now cause Tucker is freaking broken.

I’d think that bout right. Can’t imagine it being more than a fg. Hopefully they both make it cause they are clearly the best 2 nfc teams.

I think its obvious that its time for the Niners and Kyle to go their separate ways. San Francisco has a replacement in Robert Saleh all ready to go and Kyle has an obvious landing spot with the Jets where he can pick the GM and have total control. This is a win for both teams as the Jets will finally have a coach that can score points and the Niners being the great organization that they are can elavate a total meathead like Saleh who has already worked there.

You funny. There no way Shanny would go to that shit show. There no way Niners letting him go and if they did he have his pick of jobs, when you have choices you don’t go to the jets. He would be fantastic in Chicago! But no way Niners firing him.

And just imagine if he had an offensive like! Bengals are 26th in pass-block win rate.

Burrow is really amazing if you think about it…

He proved the one year I lost a fortune fading them til got most it back w rams he doesn’t need a oline as much as a competent defense. He really needs to get out of cincy, afraid he will never win cause that shit show ownership doesn’t care,, they let all the defensive players walk and still havnt paid the wr’s, it a total joke. If they were gonna string out the WRs they could have at least brought back the defense for a chance to win this year. Carson Palmer waited to long to bolt, afraid he gonna do same after signing the big deal, hard to pass that money especially with his injury history but think I woulda played out my rookie deal and told them to kick rocks, then obviously he have to play the cousins game and get franchised a few times, but at least he get the fucj out before he gets his career shortened and doesn’t win anything. Don’t think anyone can win with this low rent franchise.

Some radio show I was listening to this morning raised an interesting question, doesn’t mean anything but interesting none the less. So after Allen got a passing and rec td on that crazy play last night when cooper pitched it back to him does he get credit for 2 tds? It was scored a passing and rec td but not sure how you can give him 2 tds for 1 play cause obviously the math wouldn’t add up far as bills total tds compared to his td number. So does he have 27 or 26 total tds? I’ve never seen anyone get a passing and rec td credited on one play so I have no clue the answer, they didn’t seem to know either, then I got out of car before they came back after posing the question so not sure what answer was?

I saw one similarity between Lamar and Aiden O'Connell. They both have a first instinct to drift back in the pocket rather than step up. Lamar can get away with it but for AOC it usually just results in 15 yard sacks.

I'm always amazed to see Lamar in a shotgun proceed to do a 7-yard dropback.....then drift back more.....his checkdowns end up 7 yards behind of the line of scrimmage, which means they have too far to run just to get back to zero, much less gain another 8 or 10 yards for a first down.

Conversely, Burrow and Mahomes always look to be stepping up in the pocket, often with a little sideways movement ala Brady to create a lane. Burrows and Chase teamed up for a 49-yard play down to the one with 3 minutes left and the Bengals needing two scores with just that kind of movement in the pocket.

Someone on the Bengals defensive staff should be fired today. For crying out loud, they need to stop a 3rd and 4 to get the ball back late.....Tomlin trots Fields out there.....you know he's gonna keep the option and run right.....the Bengals have THREE players on the outside right that can make the play, but they ALL bite on the fake handoff and Fields is free to run off a wide-open edge. EVEN THE ANNOUNCER SAID FIELDS WOULD BE KEEPING IT. They ran the play a couple of weeks earlier. How did these guys not get the preparation to stop it?

Hoping to get an early line on this one..I'd be all over the Eagles at plus money

I can't see anyone wanting that Jets job , Rodgers is the GM , there has to be some Packers retread he can bring in ..Is Mike Holgrem still around ???

Every passing TD needs to have a receiving TD to go with it,very odd, given it was a completed pass is I guess why it's credited as a receiving TD....1st thought was it would count as a rushing TD

So ultimately does he get credited for 2 tds? Be awful strange when you add up all the bills players tds at the end of year and it comes out to 1 more than the team scored? Lol

Yep,sure did in my fantasy league that I have him in,got a text right away from the guy I was playing against Lol

But you're over thinking the one extra TD thought, if Josh Allen has 27 TD passes there should be 27 receiving TD's,which there is
Make sense?

It’s really not important I just find it interesting. Worked out great for me cause I played Allen to score at halftime at +300! I just thought it was I interesting curiosity, nothing more. Awesome play btw! We have see qbs ball get batted and they end up catching it themselves but in my 40ish years of watching fb never seen anything like that!!

Hoping to get an early line on this one..I'd be all over the Eagles at plus money
Eagles will have the HFA more than likely.

Detroit injuries will catch up here and result in a loss Thursday or the following Sunday.

Eagles schedule isn't too hard. Steelers and Washington plus a lot of trash.

Detroit MNF game at SF looking better though.

Still, the schedule to end is much tougher.

Keep an eye on tiebreakers here.

Agree ...I'll have to look at both teams remaining schedules but the Lions injuries are really piling up....

GB on short rest although GB same situation.

Buffalo on the 15th at 4:25. What a game!

@ Chicago
@ SF on MNF
Vs Minnesota

Philly with ..

Vs Carolina
Vs Pittsburgh
@ Washington
Vs Dallas
Vs NYG

1 loss TOPs but likely sweep this to finish 15-2. Big Steelers fan right now but Philly gets that one at home. Redskins popped 42 the other day but offense has been struggling for weeks. The rest are self explanatory.

Detroit will lose 1 of the next 2 to get that 2nd loss.

Definitely lions have the tougher schedule. A buffalo loss would be BETTER for a multitude of reasons...

1. Division race
2. Conference record tiebreakers

Hmm thats tough..
I'd guess the Lions losing two is most likely ....Wouldn't be suprised if the Eagles sweep their slate ...

Extremely difficult to predict this wacky league lol though

Very true.

Lions playing in such a tough division this year. No true patsy.

Wouldn't be suprised if the Bears get them next time.
Pack are tempting with the 3.5 Thursday too....
I'm rooting for the Lions with no money involved to win NFC, Just like the BILLS some new blood would be exciting imo

Bills Lions SB might break the Internet with those fan bases!

Shootout coming at FF on Thursday night imo. I've had this one circled for weeks.

I'll have a thread tonight.

I prefer first half overs in Lions games. Just seems so many of their games start out fast and slow down in the second half. Couple that with the fact that Green Bay has the top fourth quarter scoring defense in the league. I’m on 1H ov25.5.

Ever since lefluer has taken over they been very good scoring in that opening scripted drive as well, dunno the numbers this year but I think he one the best in the game af scripting those 1st 15ish plays. Maybe even a 1st qrtr total?

All bout lafluer, I know he likes to run but considering lions defensive injuries I think the best way to attack them is thru the air. The 1st 15 plays for pack will tell us a lot, id love to see him dial up play action early. If he just bangs Jacobs into lions defensive wall it will suck! I trust him I think, he comes out with play action taking shots this could absolutely be a game played in 30s! Think loins best path to success is screens and swing passes to the running backs, get packers to start coming forward and hit Williams over the top. This doesn’t feel like a great game for st brown as he be dealing with a top corner, short stuff to the RBs and then load up deep for Williams!

It's a weird division

I can make the case that Lions/Vikes/Pack are all better defensively than the other

We get so wrapped up in Detroit offense and fantasy points or whatever people need these days that we fail to discuss how insane this division is defensively. It's all time elite

I think the injuries to lions have really weakened their passing d. Hopefully lefluer isn’t hell bent on banging Jacobs cause I think lions run d is still pretty sturdy but believe you can get them thru the air. The biggest weakness I saw w pack d is they vulnerable to backs in passing game which why I like Gibbs. I’d expect Alexander to make like difficult for st brown. If lions dink and dunk to the backs not only can Gibbs break one from anywhere I think it draws the corners up and would give Williams a shot for a deep ball!
