Week 13 Discussion Thread

that would be sick if belichick and them pulled it off. I remember being on tarheels last season because of sordid history between mack brown and diaz. 'heels were up like 20 points I thought mack brown was gonna whoop him but duke came back and won 21-20 it was nasty

Temple had lost THREE one point games this year. They beat the UTSA team that beat Tulane.
Green Wave need to be careful here….Id be on the dog more than anything. Sumrall’s name is out there but the rankings came out….I’m sure he’d like a redemption off that week…..tough game

Really bad slate this week. Prime time Saturday night is Tenn / Florida.
And, this needs to be fixed.

With the sport moving to the playoff format this 2nd to last week should be absolutely huge for more teams than not!

Once we are fully into the mega conferences and the playoff is established, this needs to be a BIG WEEK.

The week before a holiday is a perfect time to showcase the sport, right??

Kinda fun to think about a playoff game...

You are right though -- this is a game that needs full attention!

Ole Miss
Northwestern
Duke

That was Tulane’s out of conference opponents this year and they beat 2 of em.
The committee got it right.

That said, their assholes will be tighter than a frog’s heading up north vs Temple Saturday.

Seeing the Line move in Ville vs SMU. This is GROK

Key Injuries Impacting Louisville
  • Running Backs Depleted: Star RB Isaac Brown (team's leading rusher with three straight 100-yard games before his injury) has missed the last two contests with a hamstring issue and is officially out. Backup Keyjuan Brown, who stepped up with back-to-back 100-yard performances (including 135+ yards in each of the past two games), suffered a lower-leg injury and is also out. This leaves unproven redshirt freshman Duke Watson (who's battled nagging injuries all season) as the likely starter—his first career start. Louisville's offense, already one-dimensional without a reliable ground game, now faces SMU's stout front seven, forcing them into predictable pass-heavy sets.
  • Quarterback Uncertainty: Starter Miller Moss is questionable after an undisclosed injury (possibly from a weight-room mishap during practice this week). Reports indicate it's trending toward him sitting, with redshirt freshman Deuce Adams (zero college starts) preparing to step in. Moss has been sacked 20 times this season and struggled in recent losses (e.g., to Clemson and Cal), but his absence would amplify Louisville's woes against SMU's pressure-heavy defense.
  • Defensive Losses: Hybrid LB/S Antonio Watts (6.5 TFLs, 3 INTs) is out, thinning an already banged-up secondary. Leading tackler T.J. Quinn is probable but not 100%.
