NIU game is meaningless for them, clinched division play for MAC Title the following week

Washington State road favorite in Apple Cup! I'd take them

Colorado - Utah game meaningless, tough spot for Utah coming off Oregon with PAC12 Title game following week

Miami, Oh - Kent will decide MAC East winner

UCLA best be careful this week vs Cal! Could smell upset there

Oregon State needs to beat Oregon and have Washington beat Wazzou. If Ore St wins and Wazzou wins they would be 3-way tied with Oregon for North and Wazzou would win tie-breaker (is what I heard on ASU-OreSt game) Oregon wins and they win division

West Division

San Diego State

  • Win vs. Boise State = Aztecs finish with 7-1 conference record, would host championship game against Air Force, Boise State, or Utah State regardless of other results
  • Loss vs. Boise State, Fresno State loss vs. San Jose State = Aztecs finish with 6-2 conference record, Bulldogs finish 5-3
    • Would host Air Force in championship game by virtue of head-to-head tiebreaker (see hosting tiebreaker 1)
    • Would travel to Boise State for championship game by virtue of losing head-to-head tiebreaker
    • Would host Utah State for championship game by virtue of likely advantage in composite computer rankings (see hosting tiebreaker 2D)
Fresno State

  • Win vs. San Jose State, San Diego State loss vs. Boise State = Bulldogs and Aztecs finish with 6-2 conference record, Fresno State would win division with head-to-head tiebreaker in hand
    • Would host Air Force for championship game by virtue of likely advantage in composite computer rankings (note: this scenario is currently too close to call, so this may not be determined until the Sunday after the regular season is finished and rankings are updated)
    • Would travel to Boise State for championship game by virtue of losing head-to-head tiebreaker
    • Would host Utah State for championship game by virtue of likely advantage in composite computer rankings

Mountain Division

Air Force

  • Win vs. UNLV, Boise State loss vs. San Diego State, Utah State loss vs. New Mexico = Falcons finish with 6-2 conference record, Broncos and Aggies finish 5-3
    • Would travel to San Diego State for championship game by virtue of Aztecs 7-1 conference record
  • Win vs. UNLV, Boise State win vs. San Diego State, Utah State loss vs. New Mexico = Falcons and Broncos finish with 6-2 conference record; Air Force would win two-team tiebreaker with head-to-head in hand
    • Would travel to San Diego State for championship game by virtue of losing head-to-head tiebreaker
    • Would travel to Fresno State for championship game by virtue of likely disadvantage in composite computer rankings (note: this scenario is currently too close to call, so this may not be determined until the Sunday after the regular season is finished and rankings are updated)
  • Win vs. UNLV, Boise State win vs. San Diego State, Utah State win vs. New Mexico = Falcons, Broncos, and Aggies finish with 6-2 conference record and 1-1 record against each other; Utah State eliminated in three-team tiebreaker B with two division losses; Air Force would win two-team tiebreaker over Boise State with head-to-head in hand

This would be a chance for Syracuse since Pitt in sandwich of clinching div with title game on deck. I just can't make sense of that happened with Cuse since their late season bye.

I've been disparaging and fading Iowa for 6 or 7 weeks. Now I think they might be a great play as a dog. They're +4.5 at Heritage, and that looks pretty good to me.

Kansas +15.5. Leipold is a miracle-worker. It was impressive that the Jayhawks were ready to go yesterday after the big upset. WVU just beat Texas (too), and another win makes them bowl-eligible, but winning by 7 or 14 is good enough for them. It was only 29-24 the last time they were in Lawrence.

I'd take CU +24. That being said, Utah will still play to win this game I just don't think they care by how much. They also want to keep everyone healthy, they may even hold Thomas out as he played last night hurt.

I feel like Ducks mo now that they blew their chance at playoff is to play well this week. I play beavers a lot in this game but I’m used to getting a lot more than 7 points!

I took the points vs tcu but dunno I’m feeling it again, not looking to back wvu either, there just a lot of games I like better.

How is k-st dogged fo texas? Something smells about that!! Who the hell betting texas at this point?

How can ya take Nebraska when they pretty much have to win to cash? Don’t get me wrong I’ve loved backing corn as dogs to good teams this year but they not getting enough to matter here. We expect them to beat a team who thrives on opponents mistakes? Corn gonna make mistakes! It what they do.

fsu feels same as k-st to me. Getting the team still competing as dogs to teams that have seemingly quit. I’m positive noles wanna go to a bowl and gators couldnt care less.

I thought it was crazy pitt was laying 14.5 to Uva last week. This week only laying -13 is a gift! This a awful matchup for cuse. That qb can’t throw and you not gonna line up and beat pitt on the ground, especially w no threat of a pass game! This gonna be blowout city imo.

Mario has one foot out the door and Oregon just won't have the motivation after losing their chance at the playoffs. Oregon State will be the hungrier team with the better coach. The Beavers win this one outright.

ducks blow their chance at playoff every year, im sure they still want to win the pac12

Last week, I thought the line was based on Armstrong being out. If I knew he was going to play, I'd have been all over that. You're right about the matchup this week -- Pitt can stop Syracuse's offense.

i just closed my eyes and trusted he would play, lol. everything i had heard is he could have played vs ND the week before so knew deep down he wasnt missing that one, i was more worried he get knocked out the game then pitt pull away.. i wondered bout what line said far as him as well but then i thought bout how big a favs putt was against mia and thought it fell in line, decided if they knew he wasnt playing line woulda been more like 17.5.

far as this week goes, there no chance cuse scoring much imo, that qb of theirs one the worst passers ive seen this year, he good in the run game but pretty confident they not scoring much on the ground against pitt d, you gotta throw on them to have success and not sure he capable? pretty sure he not! lol.. it doesnt get any better for cuse on the other side either, their defensive strengths been getting after the qb and run d, unfortunately for them pitt protect pickett really well and while they stay balanced they dont rely on the run game to make the offense go. Long as we get their A game i think pitt wins by 20+.

What do you like better? I'm not seeing very much. I like the Wake/BC over. I have angles specific to the two rivalries that tell me to take Ole Miss and South Carolina, but I'm not excited about anything.

im not really done with anything yet but just lean wise i like a lot, im sure some these will prob get scratched after i dig into more but: fsu, purdue, pitt, k-st, iowa, wazzu, okie lite, ecu, bc. utsa, army, wku, minny, couple totals, off top my head, lol. as i said im not finished with anything yet cause i been busy with nba props and ncc hoops. gonna try and get my card done tonight/2marro.

I thought last weeks Pitt line was high for Armstrong being out also. I checked Twitter 30 minutes before game and said he was full dress taking reps with 1s and reporter believed he was going to start. Point spread barely moved .5-1 point lower before kickoff at some places, all where still atleast 14. Weird.

Sounds Kansas St QB situation is bad if Thompson is out. I assume he is.

i guess that explains the line, i sure couldnt figure it out at a glance, lol.. man, i was dying to get some plus money against texas., lol..

I read it here, think aplous. I'm sure info could be attained easily online. It sounded like Howard wouldn't be the guy either leaving somebody else, I forget exactly.

i thought bout a lot cause i knew i wanted uva at that number if he played and i came to the conclusion it woulda had to be way higher if he was out. i obviously thought 14.5 was high but it really wasnt way out of line with some the other numbers they had hung with pitt so i wasnt too worried, of course reading how close i heard he was to playing the ND game and that he only got held out cause this game was more important made me feel good also..

Isn't Martinez out as well?

i did get a little worried after i bet it, got home and saw 15s at some places, that made me nervous, lol..

Will Pitt play starters 4 quarters? If not they will need to be up by a few TDs probably to cover.

A freshman QB could turn it over. I look forward to a new QB just to see what Nebraska looks like from a curiosity standpoint.

no doubt, i just felt better with the certainty i felt they would turn martinez over, lol..

Yes. Pitt won coastal for sure. Atlantic is up for grabs.

1st half prob a smarter idea then,,, i wonder if we will get a true half line or if it be shaded that way with that thinking in mind? guess i have some more reading to do tonight, lol.. is this a big rivalry? are they playing for a jug or cup or anything? lol

It's not a rivalry in the sense that I think of them, but Pitt and Cuse have had some weird and crazy games as I recall.

if pitt gives a shit i just dont see how cuse moves the ball on them? that qb of theirs a terrible passer, i think pitt front 7 way too good for a team without a passing threat to run on them..

Virginia Tech has started 5 different QBs the last 5 years in the Commonwealth Cup. Might start 6th different one this year.
