Two underperforming teams to say the least, both on their 2nd consecutive Thursday game. Between both teams they've lost 7 of last 8. Both are battling lots of injuries and both expect several players back tonight. This game is a total crapshoot to cap imho, I do like the over, but my small Saints play is mostly just contrarian as most everyone is preaching boys.
The Pats come in the hottest team in the NFL (6-0 SU & ATS) in L6. They lead the division at 8-4 and could really take command with a win tonight. Meanwhile, the Bills continue to be one of the highest variance teams in NFL history. There’s no in-between for them. Look at there last two games, 41-15 loss to Indy as 7-point chalk and then another blowout win (all 7 of their wins have come by 15 or more). I would expect this one to be an outlier going down to the wire. Looks like a cool Buffalo evening with wind 25-30 MPH. This may play havoc with the passing game, but neither team is a stranger to this weather.
NE is 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS when on 6 game win streak since '08
BUF is 3-31 SU and 12-21-1 ATS vs NE since '01 (2-16 SU & 5-13 ATS at home)
Them are mostly old number put up in Brady/Belichick era, but current win stream is under the new team Jones/Belichick. In the last 6 NE has been quite dominant, outscoring opps by an avg 35-10 and are +13 net turnovers. BUF on the other hand has turned the ball over 11 times in last 4 games and are 3-3 in L6 after starting season 4-1. Most folks think BUF steps up tonight, but I look for NE to flex a bit and prove that HE is indeed back! Pats 24-17
