:cheers3: BAR, thanks Doggy
Example of what I am looking at with a team total..brief synopsis..
UNC/PITT
UNC has given up under 30 just three times this year...Liberty, SDSU and Virginia
We know VA has offensive issues, Liberty is a jv team..both teams scored 28 and 29.
SDSU put up 27.
PITT scored 48, 28 last two.
UNC defense is worse than anyone on the schedule
125th in the country with total defense, give up 6.4 ypp, defense been on the field for 714 snaps in 9 games which is one of the worst in the country for teams who have played 9 games.
Most important stat to me...is they are the worst in ACC in T.O.P. only holding the ball 24:50 a game because of 3 reasons.
1.They score quick
2.They play uptempo which goes in line with reason 1
3. Several 3 and outs/turnovers
Pitt is avg offense with Voytek at helm but will be above average today even if stats don't reflect it because the opposing defense is so bad.
I am encouraged by some of the scores against weak defenses like Duke. Gtech was just a turnover prone game and offense never could get going.
Bottom line is the offense is stagnant against avg/solid defenses, above average against bad defenses and you snap over 31 every time in this situation imo.
I don't care where the game is...is especially if nothing is on the line. Weather looks solid....I mostly look for precipitation that is heavy and winds over 15 mph to get me off a team total. Cold doesn't bother me unless we go below 0.
The synopsis is very similar for the Michigan State play.
Roll Tide should show the world Miss. ST. defense is a fraud.
