Very happy with game day management today. Came in with only about 20 pre-Saturday bets. I avg just about 100 bets on a Saturday, some are Dll. Today 19 Dll, something like 20 were FCS and then I just bet all day long and still ended up with 94 and all good. Love this website, love FCS, love betting, love everything
Don't love Norfolk. The way the first half ended, I'm sure nobody saw, but they were kicking a FG at the end of the 1H up by 6, it's blk'd and everyone starts walking off the field and looking around, Hunter for Morgan is like 'y'all keep walking while my boys lead me to the EZ" and just like that Morgan takes the 1 pt lead into half instead of potentially being down 9. Earlier Morgan had a 1 yard TD drive after INT and long return. Just bad teams doing bad things, you know it when you bet them. But not all bad teams performed bad today, so win some and lose some.
First game that Drake has been outgained in Pioneer League play, won by 8, bend-don't-break D vs Dayton.
Duquesne has reawoken, if reawoken is a word
Think Ivy favorites went 0-4 again today, like last week. Well, it depends if basing on openers or closers. Brown covered the close, but not the open. Harvard almost lost! Penn kicked the FG to put them up on 2nd or 3rd down with like :24 seconds, I forget exactly, but they had no timeouts. Smart guys outthinking things? That just meant they left Harvard that many more seconds to nail a 53 yarder. Kid has a cannon for a leg.
Speaking of openers, Merrimack, Columbia, Campbell, YSU they covered the opening number, not the closing number.
Valpo, like I'm sure everyone was watching Stetson-Valpo - huge comeback. Valpo had to go the length of the field down 8 no timeouts final minute, they scored with :00 on the clock, got the 2 to force OT, Stetson scored first in OT with xpt, Valpo scores and gets the 2 to win by 1.
Hurst was back for PC, then beat St Thomas. Rucker was back for Bucknell, but he must've got reinjured early.
The Citadel is in position to kick a potential game winning FG late late late 4Q, they throw a pick.
Campbell finds new ways to lose. They are in position to set up for game winning FG down around/inside the Elon 20 can take some knees or whatever they want, but run the QB and he fumbles! Then Elon hits an 80y TD pass! These games....
Another crazy thing, NAU is up by 8, they just stopped Cal Poly real late 4Q so now NAU working on killing clock, they have 4th-1 at like their own 25 maybe 1min left, they are on the field, acting like they are hard counting, but, eventually...they snap it, hand it off and Cal Poly stuff them. CP couldn't do anything with it, but that situation, crazy.
This Idaho - Sac State game that just ended, crazy. Idaho takes first lead of game with about 2 or 3 min left. Sac State converts 2, maybe 3, 4th downs, Sac State isn't the kind of O that can complete forward passes when they have to, but they hit some big ones here, and got down to the 2 ran it in with :13 or something left.
I know there were a lot of other just insane games today, I just couldn't try to monitor them all.... South Dakota - Southern Illinois, 5 OTs. Lafayette-Richmond was pretty nutty
It's about it, one more week for everyone to go.
