Is this still not up yet? Kinda just wanted to post that Josiah Scott has finally been cleared to play!

He'll have it up today. We rotate weeks. Scott was actually cleared last week but they wouldn't play him because they want to redshirt him.

Not knowing who will be at QB for either UCLA or Oregon. Herbert has concussion and Thompson-Robinson could return, but Kelly isn't speculating. Speight took first team reps Monday.

Notebook: Henderson expected back for Missouri game, Mullen says

Florida’s depleted secondary has received some rare positive news. Starting cornerback CJ Henderson is on schedule to return for Saturday’s game against Missouri after missing most of the Georgia game with an injured back.

“Thankfully, no structural damage, just a bruise,” UF coach Dan Mullen said Monday. “So we’re expecting him to be ready to go for Saturday.”

Henderson was injured on Florida’s first defensive series against the Bulldogs and did not return. With Henderson out — along with starting cornerback Marco Wilson, who is sidelined for the season after injuring his knee in the Sept. 8 Kentucky game — Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm picked apart the young secondary, throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns.

The loss of Henderson clearly had an impact on the game.

“It didn’t help,” Mullen said. “Right there you lose probably your best defensive player. When you’ve already lost your first or second-best defensive player.

“You’re looking at a spot that is really not deep, but has some of your best players, and then you don’t have both of them play in a game. And (Georgia) did a good job of taking advantage of that. That’s how they were able to move the ball.”

Henderson was replaced by sophomore C.J. McWilliams, who was beaten on two of the touchdown passes.

Sophomore Brian Edwards, who missed the Vanderbilt game, did not see any playing time at corner against Georgia, but did play on special teams.

The secondary also could receive a boost this week from the expected return of starting safety Brad Stewart, who was held out of Saturday’s game for unspecified reasons.

More Emory to come

Florida fans — and opposing defenses — are going to see more of true freshman quarterback Emory Jones at some point over the next four weeks, Mullen said.

Mullen came up with a package of plays for Jones to run in the Georgia game. He rushed for 12 yards, drew a pass interference call on an accurate deep pass and recovered his own fumble.

UT starter Guadagni's status uncertain for Ball State

University of Toledo football coach Jason Candle said starting quarterback Mitch Guadagni suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder Thursday against Western Michigan and is questionable for the Rockets’ home game Wednesday with Ball State.

“The medical team will get him ready to go,” Candle said. “He’ll have to get out there and practice and do some stuff, but with the short week it will be tough.”

Peters probably had his best game vs WM when he came in for Guadagni. Peters' play prior wasn't that good.

Things look to be getting worse for Ball State

Ball State's Riley Neal among several key players likely to sit at Toledo

MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State will play at Toledo on Wednesday without some of its best players, most notably Riley Neal.

The redshirt junior quarterback had an MRI and was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and PCL. It will not require surgery. Drew Plitt, who came in on relief of Neal in the second quarter at Ohio, will start. True freshman John Paddock will serve as the backup.

The Cardinals could also be without starting running back James Gilbert and leading tackler Jacob White, though that is speculation based on practice participation. Neither has practiced and White was still in a boot on Sunday. Neu said Gilbert (back) and White (ankle) both have a chance to play still after each sustained injuries in last week’s loss at Ohio.

The injuries are starting to pile up, as backup running back Caleb Huntley is likely to miss his fourth straight game, and starting left tackle Kaleb Slaven will likely miss his seventh straight game.

Malik Dunner will start at running back, with true freshman Tye Evans and redshirt freshman walk-on Will Jones also working in.

Plitt takes center stage now and would appear to have a chance at starting the final three games of the season, depending on Neal’s health. Plitt has appeared in five games this season, completing 18 of 29 passes for 235 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. The redshirt sophomore started three games last season.

"We have a lot of confidence in Drew," Neu said. "I said last spring, nobody has improved any more than Drew has, with how he worked in spring practice and how hard he worked in training camp."

O boy this is big remembering the ats impact of these kinda big injuries last year. Gotta look to bet toledo?

Any Iowa folks have news on Stanley? Just read he claims he has practiced but Iowa beat writer used the word "questionable" for Purdue

Three weeks since he last played and McKenzie Milton still listed as day to day and game time decision v Temple. Could not have played if game had been today according to UCF media, but UCF didn't address that question.

These big stars usually answer the bell for important games and I'd say this is their toughest game left.

Milton still day to day.

Temple's best RB has missed two games, is still not cleared to play this week, but is officially day to day. The DT has practiced on a limited basis and although listed day to day seems to have a good chance to play

Temple seems to be a trendy upset pick this week I hear from media types. Not sure I see it. Do like Temple's D and believe they could potentially make it tough on UCF in a way few teams have. But also not sure I trust the Temple O to win it for them.
