Good luck this season Coach. Washington should name the score, if they want.

Pretty much...2 factors in this one for me...#1 this game and S. Florida fit into the same awesome historical trend (play on any road team favored by 14+ pts in week 1)...This doesn't make it an auto-play for me but pretty close, there are 1 or 2 other games on the board that fit the profile of this trend but I haven't pulled the trigger on em on account there are some other litigating factors involved...back to Washington, #2 Washington is in that group of what I call 2nd tier title contenders (legit teams but by their ranking are on the outside looking in)...in other words Washington needs to win and needs to win impressively...if a Pac-12 team goes to the bottom feeder of the BIG10 and doesn't destroy them they will be labeled average to the voters and it will be hard to get off that list...I always look for teams that fit this criteria in the first few weeks.

South Florida is just that much more talented than SJST and Charlie is going to want to send a message in his debut...they fit into my week 1 historical trend...sometimes its just that simple to pull the trigger on a game

North Dakota is a different beast and I will be back later to write a bit on that game but if your going to play it you better get it in now...Pretty simple really, North Dakota is a legit top ten FCS team and this is their super bowl...A win here will propel them into the top tier of FCS...Utah is on the decline, while they will have more athletes/depth than ND they will be lesser than from fundamentals standpoint...Utah isn't playing for national titles or conference championships they are trying to get to the Caribbean Bowl (2nd tier bowl game in a nice local) and beat their rivals...Utah has BYU on deck, a win in week 2 will make their season and perhaps save a few jobs in the Utah coaching dept...they will not be motivated to play the X-Fighting Sioux...this is a game they want to make sure they win and get out of there to get ready for BYU...Even if Utah manages to get up by 4+ scores this one could easily come home with a backdoor cover...Don't be surprised if the Sioux give em a run for their money just to win the game

I have 2 more FCS teams I will be looking hard at closer to game days

I usually do a one of these each the first couple weeks...last year lost week one and won week two...surprisingly these early season type parlays have fared better than you might guess...I realize one of these plays already occured, I'm sure if you want to play this particular parlay with the remaining games it would still issue a nice return

Thanks for your thoughts, mr coach. Interesting angle with Wash and USF I hadn't thought of.
As for No Dakota, I'm an fcs freak so I'll take another look see. Territorially, the game is outside my comfort zone, but that doesn't exclude it.

Well aware of your prowess in the FCS...followed you for years before posting at ctg...love to hear your thoughts if you have time for or against

0,1,1...-.52 after week 0

GL coach, I'm with you on Huskies :shake:

It's a pretty good size play for me...Most likely my largest play for the first couple weeks...I really see this one getting ugly fast...Washington very under rated...I have heard a bunch of talk about Rutgers but if you compare personal on both sides of the ball this game is a joke...unless Washington comes out half asleep they are going to beat the breaks of em...Really see a 56-13 type score in this one

I will play no more than 3 2H plays per day...typically I will list them as Morning, Afternoon, and Late 2nd Half plays...starting it off with a Morning 2nd half play that jumps off the board

Morning 2nd Half Play
Missouri State/Missouri 2nd Half Over 40 -110 (3*)

Afternoon Card
Kentucky -10 -105
Troy +10 -102
USC -27.5 -105 (2*)
Miami Ohio -2½ -105
Eastern Washington +10 -110
Eastern Washington/Texas Tech Over 86 -120

*Afternoon Kickball Bonus...Italy (WC-Qual)/Spain (WC-Qual) Over 2 -129 (2*)

GL BC...I actually think that EW/Tech total is low and had it on my radar...crazy that 86 can be considered potentially too low, but I guess I'm dating myself As an old SOB...bol

I told myself anything less than 99 I was going to play this total...if it loses I will be able to live with it but if they ended up scoring 140 pts and I was too chicken shit to wager on it I would have a hard time sleeping tonight...On paper you have the 2 most potent fast paced offenses in the last 10+ years facing each other...how could you not put your money on the over here

Evening Card
James Madison -1 -105
Louisiana Tech -39½ -110
Middle Tennessee +3 -105
Northern Iowa +9½ -110

Arkansas State +14½ -107

adding to the evening card

Tulane -13½ -105
TCU -59½ -105
Louisville/Purdue Over 66½ -104
Georgia Southern/Auburn Under 59 -105

added a unit to Middle Tenn St
