If nothing else...no matter how busy life gets...one thing always brings me back home to CTG. What's it been...9 years since the launch? Must be time for college football! Good to see BAR, Fondy, Jump, CKR, and the boys keeping things alive & well.

^^ first set of plays, made last nite.
other than the total, they're all PR# driven plays. Ohio & Old D are half unit plays because i'm not confident enough to back fully back these two (&/or my PR#s just yet) on the road. made Ohio a 14.5 fav in Idaho, and made Old D a 9.5 fav at EMU, fwiw.
on a neutral field, i make Scary a half pt fav. not sure what kind of HFA to give UNC here, tbh. but in the end, just see Scary having issues moving the ball...UNC beginning things with the W.
lastly, made N Illy a 25 pt fav at home. one thing a few of these have in common though is going against the bottom dwellers in my power rankings (Idaho, EMU, UNLV).

They need some more work/fine tuning, no doubt...not to mention actual data from the games/season...but fwiw, here are my starting PR #s.

You too, Nick. Pac-12 stuff coming up... :shake:

Will say a couple things for tonight though. Was very happy UCLA named Rosen the QB. Should be a play on the Bruins coming up! Will be some rough patches, obviously...but it's a solid team that would've been handicapped with Neuheisel. Nice to have as a back up, I guess...just not at the helm, if we're going to dream big.
And I'm really fighting with the A&M/ASU game/line. Might end up just watching it, as a result. A&M's defense won't be fixed overnight. That said, question marks all around...both sides...and there's a part of me that worries ASU will get pushed around (out muscled) a bit...so will probably just leave this coin flip game alone.

late to the party, but added a few unders in marquee games...

BYU/Nebraska under 64.5 (-110) for 1
Texas/Notre Dame under 54.5 (-110) for 1
Wisconsin/Alabama under 51.5 (-110) for 1

lots of totals this week, it seems.

Arizona TT over 45 (-115) for 1
Arkansas St/USC over 66 (-110) for 1

just in case either of these two get messed with tomorrow morning. Trojans & Wildcats will both be in the 50s, imo. Just can't trust UTSA to contribute, unlike Arky St.

two leans. mentioning it, because there's a good chance I'll cave in and make small plays on both of them. michigan and arizona st. like both sides, even if one of them goes counter to my PR #s...but that said, i'm concerned that both could be simply out-muscled by their respective opponents...at least on one side of the ball in each game. anyhow, we'll see what happens with these two. it'll either be will power that prevails, or an itchy trigger finger winning out. ;)

now, the two small additions that i couldn't stay away from...

UCLA (-19.5) over Virginia (-110) for 1/2
Virginia Tech (+14) over Ohio St (-110) for 1/2

action plays, tbh. 90 degrees took the line value away from the Bruins. my bad though waiting/hoping for a 16.5, and not getting the play in sooner...like i correctly did with the trojan over last night...so just a 1/2 unit (homer) play, as a result.
had to have a little something on the monday nite game, hoping lightning can somehow strike twice and make the season that much more interesting right outta the mother fuckin gate. ;) seriously, do not like to ignore the revenge angle...not to mention what a quality squad tOSU will put on the field...but 2 TDs might be a bit too much, if the Hokies can resurrect some of that Blacksburg magic. anyhow, my PR #s agree...11 to 11.5 was more appropriate, imo, with HFA added...but still just a 1/2 unit play.

late nite, degen addition...

Colorado (-1) to Colorado/Hawaii un 67 for 1.1 to win 1

a little teaser, the way i'll typically make a few of the bowl games more palatable.

How much do you like Arizona TT o45.5

sorry, man...i wasn't on the site to see this post. tbh, this game is disgusting to watch as a Pac-12 fan, so my feeling's have changed...but prior to this ugliness outta Arizona, i would've played it the same up to 47 pts. as i said somewhere above, i had them in the 50s. still may get there...but had i even remotely seen the yardage they'd allow tonight, i obviously would've stuck with the game going over the # vs the team total.

yanks bol my brother have a great year

you too, amigo :shake:

not the best opening night, for me or the Pac 12. :hang:

didn't deserve to lose the UNC play, bottom line. had no idea the level of ineptitude i'd see in Arizona, so i guess i did deserve to lose that one. but even with all the ugliness, it still should've gone over at the end. ridiculous...

oh, well...left shaking my head...and watching the conference further embarrass themselves on the islands.
