Week 1 plays

spottie2935

Read Lines, Not Books
Under Iowa State K St
Cincy
Northwestern
Cal Bears
Miami Canes
Tar Heals
CU Buffaloes
Purdue
Temple
Rutgers thx to Carolina Blue 🎯

I’ll include lines closer to kick off and use the pre game lines at that point.

I guess some people are overly sensitive about stale lines and by me posting so early I don’t want this controversy. Doesn’t matter to me though it’s my money. I’m just sharing my opinions.

You won't get stale line crap from me, especially in midsummer when lines are out for months. You bet early, get a better line and there is more time for things to go wrong or right like players suspended or injury. It's all risk vs reward.

GL this year Spottie2935!!

I’m the same way.

I appreciate people taking accountability so much. It’s mental toughness. Love and respect too. You get it 👍

I’ll just post the teams and let the followers decide their own lines.

Soon it’s football time.

The rest will be unders and I’ll have a big list. I will have action from start to finish in both week 1 action. Beginning with the reversal of the bowl game destruction from the previous year.

Follow that with unders that include a FBS matchup. The favorite would have a FCS game in week 2. I’ll post all those plays when the data site I use updates. I have played a few already.

Carolina Blue has Rutgers and I agree. I’ll leave that to him.

The basis of my Cincy bet is mainly based upon a good team from 2024 that finished horrible. The keep their coach and starting Qb.

As far as the dogs I bet ? Most the favorites I bet against haven’t quite put it together enough in recent history. Cincy was real good until the 0-5 finish. Sorry doesn’t make too many Ints so I’m counting on Cincy to keep it close. Nebraska has less than a 40% winning percentage since 2017. Raiola has potential but the stats on him are not dominate yet. He will have to prove it to me. Nebraska with Rhule should keep improving but I’m only interested in them as dogs. Until they improve their record they are going to need wins and as underdogs as well.

UMass finished last year incredible covering spreads now they have to face Tdmple that could use a win here. Temple was a small dog previously but I find Temple as the better team

Colorado is obviously in Transition. It’s going to be a difficult season for them. They lost their whole WR group but have very young talent in place now. I really don’t think highly of a dog team like Georgia Tech traveling to CU in altitude laying over a fg. Tech doesn’t have a strong road history. As far as Tech they have some strengths but they can be had in the passing game. CU wants to run more but I don’t think Deion will be so patient when the passing game might be successful.

Oregon State was so great before last season they are a dog team again. In 2024 Cal faced a lot of better teams than Oregon st and were successful as far as ATS. I think Cal has a nice line.

Miami canes.
Notre Dame traditionally doesn’t play top 20 opponents on the road and if they do they struggle ATS. Notre Dame plays old school run the ball, play keep away, and sound defense and fundamentals. Carson Beck isn’t laying -30 with Georgia he is an underdog here. If Miami canes hold Notre Danes scoring he will have a good chance at the W. The main reason I love this pick ? It’s a bookie/business matchup. Sunday night isolated game with No NFL games? In history these week 1 isolated games are 18-8 ATS for the underdog. Notre Dame also has a long successful history covering spreads. This one will be difficult.

Purdue made a lot of changes and got a previous 4 star rated QB. Ball St is ball St. 3-9 last year and were double digit dogs in 5 conference games last year. If Purdue doesn’t put a beat down here, something went wrong. Motivation angle playing a team that finishes .500 or worse in the MAC conference most seasons.

Colorado and UNC I have grouped together. Both teams have questions and as dogs I love to ride them. Both teams if they win could sit in the bottom of the top 25 in week 3. UNC has an easy game vs. Charlotte in week 2. CU has Delaware on deck. Both these teams are stories and at 2-0 there will be hype. That’s the time to jump off the train. Climb on board as dogs. Give Belichick all this time to prepare? They will be ready. TCU beat who they were supposed to beat last season and this game could test that. Home dog in a win-able game. It’s a news story that should happen

Northwestern faced a tough schedule last year in the big 10 and similar lines to this. They didn’t have much success but they didn’t play a Tulane with a +6 line.

Good luck guys. I tried to fade favorites with weakness or dogs that could find momentum. I think these dogs all have a fighting chance.

The interesting headlines after the week will be the shockers: Colorado won again and Belichick won his debut in UNC. No news story about Georgia Tech or TCU when they are supposed to win as favorites. Oh the twitter fests about these teams will be a blaze.

All the Elite laying 4tds are ever mentioned.

All the Post game SVP show and weekly ESPN shows will have plenty to talk about if these teams start 1-0 and 2-0.

Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts as always enjoy the read. I am actually holding tight on my Heels as I think the line will continue to move towards TCU, so I am happy to wait on that one vs jumping. I think it hits a wall if it gets to something like 4, as then it might head back towards 3 but we shall see. I am actually more interested in the total, but I don't want to be in a situation where I am rooting for TCU to score so I can cash, so will wait til game time to see if I can get a Heels TT at a reasonable number like 27.5 or less but not sure yet. With all that said, I might just a couple hundred on the UNC ML and say why not. I will have action on that one one way or another so will be sure to note in my thread if it is a smart pick or an emotional one haha. Best of luck this season man!

I appreciate it. You’re just good vibes always

Always appreciate your posts.

Lines are all over the place from March till end of August the start of the season. Variance will be there.

Never an issue with early posting!! Love it.

Looking forward to a big season bud!

I post early to discuss.

Looking at Texas AM

Both these teams ats trends are opposite

Speaking only ATS: A&M finished 0-5 while UTSA finished 5-0

Favorites over Rice -4 and dogs+3 to ECU and -10 to Tulsa all losses (photo below)

Why did UTSA finish so strong? Because earlier in 2024 they were not doing well then their lines flipped into good situations. AM had a gauntlet to close out and failed miserably. I don’t think UTSA has ever faced a top 15 team and the line is -21. This is hidden gem because a -21 spread in week one is normal.

This is not a normal matchup. Want confirmation go look at the UTSA opponents last year. They covered good lines late against beatable opponents. -21 nothing is free but this price is a sale.

Best of luck brother

May this be your most profitable season to date ..

Great work man - BOL this year ........... 👊

$ I'll probably be on the Aggies - UTSA HC Traylor doesn't really take these early games seriously (smart) - most likely they'll pick up the $1.5M dollar check, and GTFO

Aggies have had way too many bad showings at home - HC Elko was strong in the non-conference at DUKE - with only Utah State (then Irish) on deck they'll be fully focused here - should murder the RR

Thank you for adding support. I’ll be checking on you soon enough. 👍👍👍👍

I am very cautious of The Gators this season

They were terrific in some dog roles but as favorites only 4 games
Vs.Tulane
Vs Missy State
Vs Samford
Vs FSU Seminoles

They were 8-2 in games when they were either favored or the line was less than 14 points as dogs. Im going to take a deeper look at their off season moves

I spoke with customer service about this so I do t get shut down. I also screenshot the conversation.
