Stonehill and Sacred Heart might’ve been the lowest scoring game of the day (12-7 SHU). SH was at about the 7 in the final seconds, clock running, they had a false start with about :10/:11 seconds to go and refs did the run off game over.
Wouldn’t say that WVU was quite as good as anyone might’ve expected, just 10-3 HT, but they got their eventually 45-3
BC blows out Fordham
William & Mary was tight, with Furman coming up with the 23-21 win (both dogs would’ve covered the opening and closing lines).

GW beats WCU. Think WCU QB was hurt or pulled
OU lackluster win, kind of vs Illinois State. Held them to 3, but only 35 from Sooners?
Morehead only led Allen 24-21 before kind of pulling away in the 4Q
Webber International (NAIA) beats Stetson
Iowa, oh Iowa. I feel bad for Mark Gronowski. I shouldn’t because his piss poor play cost me money! But I do. He was terrible!
Presbyterian beat Wofford last year, which was a huge upset historically speaking even though Wofford is down as a program. But Mercer is not down, defending SoCon champs and the Blue Hose beat them 15-10 as 22.5 pt dogs on the close. Somebody liked the Hose as line dropped some before kickoff
South Carolina State only beats Wofford 16-15 despite a 414-142 ttl yard edge!?
JMU handles Weber
South Dakota State beats Sacramento State 20-3 but it never even felt that close. Dismal showing by Sac St O especially at QB
Ark State handles SEMO
I need to go back and watch this one on replay, but Kansas State needs game winning TD drive in final minute! Eric Schmit year 1 putting the MVFC on notice.
Bovada put up some live lines and team totals for Southern Illinois and Thomas More. But they thought Thomas More, who is Dll, was St Thomas, who is Dl FCS. So easy pickings there taking SIU -mid30s and ttl Over low 40s thank you very much!

Austin Peay Austin Peay DOMINATES MTSU!
WKU rolls UNA
Vandy wins big over Charleston Southern who kicked a very late FG to make the game go Over opening numbers thank you very much
SLU O has a long long way to go, OL, but especially QB for such a veteran QB Camp to lack awareness in the pocket and be such a poor decision maker. Not sure what the future holds for them now after being bullish on them before the season started.
Texas Tech did what Texas Tech should do vs UAPB, which UAPB was somewhat respectable lower tier SWAC team last year, but the guys that made them so are gone.
BYU…oh Portland State been shutout in 2 games this year to the tune of 111-0! Barney ball LOL
Grambling at Langston, no clue, I assume Grambling won?
Cal Poly wins big vs San Diego, who they have often struggled with (lost to them last year). SD was supposed to be good this year.

Idaho – Wazzou, oh. Great crowd for these two close proximity schools. Idaho traveled well and made the place loud as the Vandals nearly pulled off the upset. Although they never led it was 0-0 after 1Q, 7-0 HT and 10-10 with 1min left, but Wazzou QB Potter led his team down for the game winning FG with :03 left. Sloppy game. Turnovers, penalties. Great D by both sides.
So there we have it. FCS vs FBS ATS – Thurs 6-3 – Fri 2-2, 1 outright win (Tarleton) – Sat 15-18, 1 win outright win (Austin Peay) = 23-23
I will have a week 2 thread up Monday, but I will be doing a long drive again this week and afterwards may not be able to post again until Wednesday night or even Thursday. I'm fearful to miss opening numbers. Surely our friends here will keep us informed. Was a super fun week. I was modestly down week 0 and games Thursday did not go as planned, but Friday and Saturday were great. Hundreds of bets in typical fashion. Even placed a few with the local to keep that relationship going for year 30! Wow
