Even without Hamilton, I think Detroit is deep enough to cover this spread. As BAR stated in his thread, Detroit is a team on a mission to start the season. They will be determined, and they play great ball on the road. If Detroit defends Shaq, plays their kind of offense, and Billups stands true to his vow to play more aggressive offense, then I see a D-town cover tonight in South Beach.

i KIND OF like the mavs/cavs under...cavs do play great D and they are ugly on offense and on top of that they just got Pavlovic who will be rusty...but they are missing Varejao who probably take at least 10 points off a total score from his taking charges and clearing defensive rebounds.

the mavs are missing Howard who is a great scorer so that should help with the under.
