thanks though- i appreciate the advice last night, you kept me off a loser with the M's.... offense was anemic just as you said.

Thanks Cap. I will break my own rules from time to time, but Seattle is just one of those teams you dont want your money on. They go from looking like one of the best to one of the worst overnight. They will drive you crazy. My 2 unit plays and totals are keeping me alive. Totals are now 8-2 which is a great sign because I think thats all I will be playing when the regular season rolls around. Doug Eddings called yet another Under today. Eddings is the man. I'm still waiting for a Campos game coming up soon, hopefully tomorrow, he's due for one. Campos is an over machine.

nice dude, sounds like youre more then ready for the season to start and gonna be a value asset to the ump stalking crew

you rex short timH and all the other maniacs... just sickkk

just wonderin, cuz i know we talked about this in the past, does this mean youre bailing on playing the m's early on??? (if you end up playing sides and not solely totals)

we knew we were takin a chance with a young group like that in the first place, do we just wait till the bats heat up on a more consistent basis and try to jump on the train then?
i think the SP will be there but the bullpen scares the shit outta me again this year with morrow in the rotation now and putz gone. lot of young arms and people i dont trust (hellman). but corcoran and jimenez came on towards the end of last season

I still like the M's during the season. Spring training is a different story. Of the 8 playoff teams last year only 3 of them were any good in ST. Some of the best ST teams like Oakland and Texas didnt do anything in the regular season. The White Sox suck every year in ST but yet come out on fire every April and usually have a good all around season. So I wouldnt necessarily stay away from the M's during the regular season. Off the top of my head, Ichiro and Felix havent even played yet this spring. A guy like Chris Jakubauskas wont pitch in the regular season just to get some work in like he would in ST. Basically, i wouldnt put much stock into what happens in ST unless there are a few individual players tearing it up like Josh Hamilton did last year. That could translate over into the regular season, but thats probably about it. BTW, cant wait to stalk those umps.
