I don't really understand the "wounded bear" comment, but I appriciate your input. I had Dallas last night against Houston, and I got it right. Tonight I look for Houston to bounce back agains the Suns.

the Suns have won 4 in a row in this head-2-head and I'd lean towards their side at -4.

With McGrady leaving last night's game with back stiffness, I have to wonder if he will play tonight and even if he does, I wonder how effective he is going to be. This fact really makes me back off backing the Rockets, epsecially with such a short number. Just my .02 cents. GL with your plays

Thanks for the input guys, I learned that my boys projections are money. Last night I personally liked the Rockets in the Dallas game. My boys had the Mavericks winning by DD. I trusted their numbers and came out with a win. Initially I liked the Suns tonight but i'm trusting in these guys numbers. You guys probibly don't believe me, but I worked with these guys in Costa Rico making initial lines for sereral casinos in vegas. I'm trusting my boys tonight.

I have a question:

I got the Houston Rockets +5.5 from my bookie. Last night when I posted my plays, the best I found was +4. For the purposes of CTG is it wrong to change my pick to +5.5, or should I leave it at +4 on CTG??

I understand. But this is what I'm asking:

I posted my plays last night. Last night the best line a saw was HOU+4. When I called in my bets the line was HOU+5.5. I don't want you guys thinking i'm changing my lines to my favor, so im asking if it is unethical, or misleading to change my pick to +5.5 or just leave it at +4 for the purposes of this site.

Personally I would just edit the original post and add that you actually got the line at 5.5. Nothing unethical at all because you'd have played houston at 4 if that's what you'd been offered. Not uncommon for people to post a pick before they've managed to get the bet down and end up with a slightly different line. BOL tonight!

You're ok. Would list it as your official pick with +4. You can explain it if you want to, but I think a lot of cappers post the open or what they see at the time of the pick, not the bet. If you get/got a better line, I would update your thread with just that - you obviously liked it at +4 and like it even more at +5.5.

I got Suns -3.5 last night right when it opened and made my bet. If I post a pick today, I would explain it the timing. Had I not made the bet but just caught the line and did a write up 5 minutes before the game tipped saying -3.5 and now its at -6, I would catch some shit... Mostly b/c I am not an alpha dog in this place, but think most of us understand the daily grinders, like yourself, and trust that you're not doing it for the wrong reasons or to make yourself look better. CTG has a little more tolerance since there aren't too many jackasses posting junk.

Hope this makes sense, my opinion for what its worth.

One of these guys on another capping site has this theory about teams that get pissed off about losing. He calls it the "wounded bear". It's lame. I hang with some retired NBA players watching the games on the weekend and they don't even comprehend that idea. I'm a bear. I'm wounded so I'm going to fight back to kill. HAHAHAHA! I would ignore it and pay attention to injury reports more. If MAC is out tonight or stiff and I've had back injuries. Not easy to get over. I would take the SUNS.
