Sniffing out wins
18-17-1 -3.10 309.30ytd 3 losing days in a row

early games
Cincinnati Reds* -1 +102 vs Chicago Cubs 100/102 ... Leake is 3-1, 1.40 in his last five starts may not be as good as his record indicates but the team he has backing him is better that the Cubbies

Atlanta Braves* -120 vs San Diego Padres 500/420 ... Maholm (7-4, 3.46), who is 3-0 with a 2.76 ERA in his last five starts coming off of one of his best starts where he yielding one run in 7 1-3 innings of a 2-1 road defeat in 10 to the Dodgers.Volquez (4-5, 6.33) coming off of one of the worst starts of his nine-year career where he was roughed up for career highs of nine runs and 11 hits in 2 1-3 innings. I think the Brave can hit him while Maholm slow down the Pads bats

Los Angeles Angels* +111 vs Baltimore Orioles 100/111 ...Baltimore has won eight of nine at home after dropping seven in a row on its own field...six wins by one or two runs, including Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Angels (27-38) after beating them 4-3 a day earlier. Hammel (7-4, 5.18), who is trying to avoid a third straight losing start. He turned in his shortest outing of the season June 1, lasting three-plus innings and allowing five runs and three homers in a 10-3 loss to Detroit.Angeles continues to underachieve, losing nine of 11 and four in a row, one shy of its season-high skid from April 7-12. I think LAA turns in a good game today with Williams on the mound@3-1, 2.14 in his last five starts.

Detroit Tigers* -1 -102 vs Kansas City Royals 204/200 ....personal preference :) can I have one of those? Verlander has not been very sharp of late, but he's still putting the Detroit Tigers in position to win but he goes for his fifth straight win. Verlander (8-4, 3.71 ERA) has won four in a row despite giving up 32 hits and posting a 4.85 ERA. He's allowed three runs over seven innings in each of his last three starts, most recently during Friday's 7-5 win over Cleveland.Shields hasn't won since April 30, but owns a 2.65 ERA while going 0-4 in seven starts since then. He's yielded three runs in 14 innings as the Royals won his last two outings. The eight runs Kansas City has totaled in those two equaled what it scored in Shields' previous five.

Cincinnati Reds/Chicago Cubs* Over 7 -185 185/100

Atlanta Braves/San Diego Padres* Over 7 -160 160/100

Los Angeles Angels/Baltimore Orioles* Over 9 -140 140/100

Detroit Tigers/Kansas City Royals* Over 7 -140 140/100

Wise, Thanks buddy, Hope ur building that college football pot. Alway look forward to ur plays GL

Coach, that 1st half play may be better. I dont play many of those as they dont do real good 'for me' Glad u like the Angel also. GL btw: Thanks for that Over with Bos yesterday. I didnt count it cause I failed to post it in my thread but thats one of many plays that never get posted....bottom line, we won

P2W...lets have a Big day pardner...GL and hope u feel better

a few more that I played
Pittsburgh Pirates* -1 -130 vs San Francisco Giants 260/200 ...Liriano is 4-2, 1.73 in six starts this season and the Pirates should be full of confidence after last nite as they looked awfully dam good.Zito is 0-3, 14.26 in his four road starts
San Francisco Giants/Pittsburgh Pirates* Under 7½ -120 120/100... Five of last seven Giant games stayed under the total.Giants aint scoring and Pirates want get 7 by them selves...i dont think

Milwaukee Brewers/Miami Marlins* Over 7 -140 140/100 ... Slowey is 0-3, 8.87 in his last five starts; he tossed seven shutout innings in relief in his last appearance Saturday. Figaro is 0-0, 6.97 in his two starts.

St. Louis Cardinals* -1 -140 vs New York Mets 140/100 ... two decent SP here with Miller @ 4-1, 1.81 in his last seven starts. Gee is 2-0, 1.26 in his last two. But the Cards winning four of their last five games and Mets losing seven of their last eight games I gotta stay with the hotter team

Colorado Rockies* -1 -140 vs Washington Nationals 280/200 ... de la Rosa is 5-0, 2.64 in his last seven starts. Ohlendorf is making first '13 start; he is 18-32, 5.10 in 73 big league starts-- he was 4-4, 7.77 with San Diego LY. He is 4-5, 4.27 in 12 AAA starts in '13. Wash has had its difficulties versus lefties, with its .209 average and .309 slugging percentage against them both being the worst in the majors.

Los Angeles Dodgers* -110 vs Arizona Diamondbacks 55/50
Arizona Diamondbacks/Los Angeles Dodgers* Under 7 -160 160/100 .... Dodgers/Arizona both lost three of their last four games. Ryu is 3-0, 1.51 in his last five starts. Arizona is 12-0 when Corbin starts (4-0, 2.32 in six road starts). I'm playing Dodgers and Ryu because Ryu pitches well against the Dbacks and struck out nine in six innings of a 7-5 win at Arizona on April 13 But Really think this is a coin flip game

Thanks Heinekens...Hope U win them All my friend

adding
Minnesota Twins* -120 vs Philadelphia Phillies 120/100
Minnesota Twins* -1 +122 vs Philadelphia Phillies 100/122
Philadelphia Phillies/Minnesota Twins* Under 9½ -160 160/100... I like this one enough to lay a run here as Phillie will have to rely on rookie right-hander Tyler Cloyd to avoid a season-high fifth straight loss. Twins have gone seven consecutive games without scoring more than four runs, and now Cloyd (2-2, 3.68 ERA) He's coming off his best outing of the year, yielding four hits - all singles - over 6 2-3 shutout innings in a 5-1 win at Milwaukee on Thursday.Pelfrey (3-6, 6.40) has seen plenty of the Phillies. He's 7-7 in 20 career starts against them, struggling more recently to a 1-3 record and 6.62 ERA in the last seven. Phillies lost their last four games, allowing 21 runs. I have a good feeling on this one

any opinion on Bos/Tb matchup??
Coach, I looked at it and came up with some things but they started canceling each out so I put side on back burner and will make a decision when I see the lineup. I did make a one U play on the Over -8.5 early. I'm dont care much for Aceves (2-1, 6.57 ERA) He was a key figure in two incidents during the spring in which benches cleared, the first being a March 9 game in the World Baseball Classic. He and several players threw nasty punches when a fierce, full-scale brawl erupted between Mexico and Canada. Aceves is 2-1 as a starter this year in four outings. He's never started against the Rays, but has enjoyed great success against many of their hitters. Rodriguez is 1 for 9 against him, Longoria, Scott and Zobrist are all 0 for 7 and Joyce is 0 for 6. But I dont trust him in this situation.Archer (1-1, 4.91) is 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA in three career home starts as opposed to 0-3 with a 5.74 ERA in three on the road. He was outstanding in a 2-1 win over Baltimore on Friday, allowing one run and two hits in seven innings. Archer earned his first career victory Sept. 19 by yielding three runs over five innings in a 13-3 rout of Boston, although Ellsbury went 3 for 3 against him. Although there is something about the Rays that I dont like this yr, they @ 20-10 and the Rays own the second-best record in the majors since May 8.
Lean towards Rays as of now and already played Boston Red Sox/Tampa Bay Rays* Over 8½ -115 X1

Thanks blood...I was leaning Bos or both team totals over 4.5 @ -105 each but I think you may be right to just take the over for the game...8.5 was a steal, I'm headed to the back porch for a cohiba and a cocktail gl tonight
