Hey fellas, in responce to some of yesterdays comments, I'll either try and include some pointers on capping totals in my everyday threads when i see examples of things I use, or I'll try and make a post over the weekend as a basic guide.....Anyway, 3 pack of totals today, I expect 2-1, I hope for 3-0.
Marlins/Braves OVER 9.5
Two bad pitchers here, esp.for these 2 teams, who normally generate very good pitchers....Olsen is rocking a 5.35 ERA and a 1.62 WHIP, while Davies numbers are slightly better, anyone who has watched him pitch knos the garbage he's capable of throwing....I really expect the Marlins to tee of on this kid...Both teams play more to the over, and Olsen is 10-4-1 to the over in his last 15 starts.
Pirates/Nats OVER 8.5
Duke, who I follow on a week to week basis, has been getting the shit kicked out of him...As much as i liked the ole' 'Fade them Nats' train, this team can produce runs, I cannot deny that....Duke has an over ERA for his last 3 starts, and I cant imagine it getting any better for him tonite (total has gone over in all 3 of those starts)...The over has also hit in Bowie's last 2 starts...and traditionally these teams play the OVER when they face one another. its 1-0 this year, 5-1 last year, 4-2 the year before.
Giants/DBacks UNDER 7.5
Both these teams play frequently to the UNDER (SF 23o-31u-3p) (AR 21o-34u-4p) and both teams are throwing great pitchers tonite....Morris has simply been lights out in his last 3 with a 1.23 ERA and 0.73 WHIP...Webb has been good, but not quite Morris good (2.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP)...I dont find either lineup very exciting, and in 7 games this year heads up, there have been ZERO, yes ZERO OVERS.....Riding the under yet again.
