Dodgers -130 ===> -116 (Dodgers Won 10-1)

Favorites Where the Line Moved Up 12 or more cents:

I am going to track this for a few days to see if there is any consistency with it, maybe change the threshold from 12cents to a little higher but right now that number seems to be doing alright. I think it is intersting that Fav's who dropped 12 cents or more swept the board tonight..The tough part is being around the computer come game time and its not something I will always be able to do so if someone knows where to get closing numbers, let me know.

Wind is supposed to be blowing out @ 10 mph to left-center but with Pettitte, Francis, and Welke, looks like UNDER all over this one.

My boy Owings doesnt get rattled. Should be a low scoring affair going into the late innings. There's no Balty pen to come and mess this up, although there is a TB pen, nice. I excpet 6 from Owings and 7 from Shields, score of maybe 3-1 D-Rays after 7 innings.

Getting an early start on those unders huh. Tampa really has put a hurting on the DBacks these last 2 days and oddly enough its been happening without Upton in the lineup, if they go cold than I think that under has a nice shot. Zona ain't hitting anybody right now so Shields should be alright and both of the 1st two games are going to go over so maybe this line moves to 9.5

yes i am, maybe I am a little cocky with Owings... but Hernandez and Davis are garbage. Hernandez, no idea how he had a sub 3 era @ home with the stuff he pitches and Davis I have no idea how he's survived so long with the walks he can pile up, even though he only walked 1 today. Owings has shown he can face some good lineups already, maybe not shut them down but the damage was minimal and he kept them in the games. He's going to be a big time pitcher. I say this every start basically hahaha.

that was 3 starts ago... I mean he is a lefty and the Tigers hit lefties very well but I think thats a pretty irrelevant stat that the Pirates scored 6 off him. He had 5 BBs so control was the real issue that game. I mean I can say he has a 4.07 ERA without that start, that's not bad. That Pirates start looks more like an abberration in comparison to his other starts is all I am saying.

You can go on to support the Lefty v Tigers thing by saying... he doesn't last a long time since hes converted from RP to SP, so the bullpen for the Nats could get rocked. I just wouldn't say Pirates rocked him so Tigers should rock him. Baseball is baseball, anything can happen... as for all sports

Speigner was like +375 @ Minnesota vs Johan Santana -400 or so idk if those are the right odds but Speigner had like an 8+ ERA in two or three starts and pitched a gem and Won. Prime example

Drays / DBacks Under 9 -115:

First heads up, this game is at 3:40pm. At 1:00am, the DBacks game is still going on in the top of the 9th.

Shields gave up 4er on 4hits and back to back homers in the first inning vs. the Rockies last start, he went on to pitch 6innings (shortest outting this yr) give up 6hits and 5er. That was Shields first loss of the season as well.

Shields Away = 3-1, 3.27era, 6g, 44ip, 34h, 7bb, 34k... Batters hitting .211 off him
Shields L3 = 2-1, 20.1ip, 16h, 3.98era, 2bb, 16k

Shields has 10 starts this yr out of 14 total with 3er or less and has gone further than 6ip in every start except the last one vs. the Rockies.

I am fully expecting him to bounce back here against a not so potent offense in Arizona for atleast 7ip.

Now Renew can prob give you any run down you need of Owings but here are the numbers..

Owings at Home = 2-1, 3.05era, 6g, 38.1ip, 37h, 12bb, 27k... Batters hitting .259 off him
Owings L3 = 1-0, 17ip, 20h, 3.18era, 5bb, 7k

Owings has given up 3er or less in 9 of his 10 starts this yr. Pretty impressive I must say.

The first 2 games in this series have gone Over. The last 5 games Arizona has played have gone Over, yet the 5 games before that went Under the total and they are 28-40-1 on the O/U this yr..Tampa has hit the over in 10 of their last 11 games but is 22-9-2 O/U on the road.

Shields is 7-6 O/U and Owings is 6-4 O/U.

Of course TB bullpen can blow this thing at anytime but if Shields can get through 7innings or more and Reyes comes in later, it should be alright. Another reason for concern is the way TB is hitting lately, .297 off RHP in their last 10, meanwhile the DBacks are hitting RHP around .215 and Shields pretty much dominated the DBacks last yr in his only career start vs. the DBacks. If Shields dominates the DBacks there is a lot of room for some runs. If Owings dominates the DRays, this game should def hit under.

I am showing Martin Foster as the ump and he is 5-8 O/U this yr w/ 62.5% for strikes. The ump guys can def chime in here better than I.

good info green, yea I mean the total jumped out at me right away without #'s just from feel of the two pitchers this year. bullpens are a different story of course and the high scoring games recently in the mlb and d-backs offensive explosion I'm sure they set the line atleast .5 too high. but I maybe wrong and they go off again...

Well, Reyes just blew the save and now the DRays game could be heading into extra innings.

The juice is now -120 on the Under 9 but I think it will atleast be 9 tomorrow, think if it does drop to 8.5 it will come back up.

Extra innings and an early game can only do good for the Under here. I don't mess with a lot of totals but I just have a feeling like this game goes under. Lets say this game ends at 1:45-2:00. By the time the players leave the clubhouse get in their beds it has to be close to 3am, 12.5 hours before first pitch.

Guthrie L3 Games = 0-0, 1.57era, 23ip, 13h, 4er, 3bb, 15k

Guthrie started the yr as a reliever and only started 1 game in April before taking over fulltime in May. In his last 9 starts this yr, Guthrie has given up 2er or less in 8 of them, the other start he gave up 3er.

Guthrie has a 1.71era as a starting pitcher this yr.

Those are sick numbers and +135 has some value to it but how the hell do you reasonably back the Orioles here.

I'm a degenerate. I only try to play one or two but can't seem to do that. I love the Reds at +225. Haren has a horrible BABIP number and is due for a severe regression. Maybe a small play on the Reds.

The Reds play seems popular due to recent losses by Oakland but Timmons at hmp is 9-1 for the large chalk last 4 years, bad Covers chart play. Probably a pass for me.

Orioles don't have the highest ERA among AL bullpens yet, but they are getting closer every day. Their strikeouts and home runs allowed are pretty good. But the 102 walks in 202 innings are killing them. As a group, they allow a .266 batting average, but a .356 OBA. The more runners you put on base, the more are going to come around to score.

Have you guys noticed how the books adapted their odds on Kuo? Halladay at home against him is 1.58.

This guy allowed 4 ER in last 18 innings of work, and the Dodgers are getting hot...but the price is totally a surprise for me...I expected a Haren-like price on Doc.

Hope it goes up. Dodgers definitely in revenge mode and Doc had a good win vs Bonderman. The rest really not inpressive. If it gets anywhere near 2 dollars I would gamble.
