Arrieta was almost unbeatable at Wrigley last year with a record of 6-1 with a 1.46 ERA in a dozen starts @ home. That's impressive when you consider that the team behind him wasn't great offensively or defensively.And they may be better later in the yr....but not now. He looked quite sharp this spring, going 3-1 with a 3.86 ERA and striking out 15 over just 14 innings. Arrieta did well against the Cards last year, going 1-0 with a 1.21 ERA in four starts. He allowed just three earned runs over 22 1/3 innings in those games.
All of that said,and as good as all of that sounds, the Cubbies are still a fade for me

Miller is one of the major parts in the Brave rebuilding process. I think the Atlanta bats stay hot and they start off with a very surprising sweep against the Marlins. Miami will start picking up some wins sooner than later as they have improved the last couple of yrs, but I don’t have a lot of confidence in Koehler as he doesn’t really have much good stuff that can consistently put away hitters.

Good luck today hound. Last night we had a lot of talk locally about how the Rockies were stealing the Brewers signs. We'll see if a correction is made.

Could be as that is part of baseball..... the Brewers have been outscored, 15-2, and outhit, 28-14 I think that Col hitters are 'just in the groove' and thats just hard to defend
