Just love the Pistons -4...
3 days of rest, to figure out what's wrong, the need to finally get a win and I still believe in SVG...

Wonder what's the line going to be in Utah, after public watched Cleveland getting trashed and Bron playing 35 minutes.
Can go to 6.5 - 7 I think...

Thoughts on today's games:

Charlotte - Miami

Charlotte are struggling at the moment (1 - 3 SU and ATS). In 3 out of 4 games, they shot 28.6% from three point line (seriously, they managed to get the same percentage in 3 out of 4 games). Lance at the moment can't do almost anything as far as scoring goes, making 6, 2, 14 and 2 points in 4 games. He does great job rebounding and decent assists number, but as long as he keeps putting those numbers scoring wise... Charlotte will struggle.
Miami on the other hand 3 - 1 SU and ATS, but really got beaten at home last night, by Houston that played B2B and lost to them by 17 points, despite winning the rebounds stats (surprisingly).
Charlotte off three losses straight, really desperate for a win.
Playoff loss revenge maybe?
As long as the line is no more than one possession against Charlotte, they are my lean.

Philly - Orlando

I won't bet on Sixers this season. Fading or skipping. Simple as that.
Last year Orlando were 4 - 0 ATS against the Sixers and 3 - 1 SU.
I realize that Sixers will win eventually, but for now, good teams don't want to get embarrassed losing to them, bad teams see Sixers as a chance to get the W and feel a bit good about themselves.
Orlando can finally get the first win of the season.
Lakers can feel fine, knowing that no matter what they do, they won't be the worst team in the league.
Orlando or nothing here.

Boston - Toronto

To be honest, I don't read those two teams well (or at all). Skipping this one without thinking twice.

Brooklyn - Minnesota

Minny are my Bucks of the West. Sleeper team that can do some damage.
On the other hand, I really like the Nets and I think that Hollins, one of the best defensive coaches in the league (and as a player was twice on defensive team of the year).
So far, I been on both of them in every game and it proved to be wise.
Now, I don't know.
Nets must win such games, if they want playoffs. Young is ? for the Wolves and he was their best (or one of the best) player this season so far.
Brooklyn or skip.

Detroit - NY Knicks

No need to explain how huge this game for the Pistons. 0 - 3 SU and ATS and three days to work out their problems so far.
Monroe is back (2 games suspension) and Detroit will look to exploit their huge size advantage.
Detroit got -4 both times last season and won and covered both times.
I'm still a believer in SVG, so it's Pistons as a probable bet.

Milwaukee - Chicago

As I said already, Bucks are my sleeper team in the East.
I think that they will be in the top 5 - 7 of the league ATS wise, when ASG break comes.
Bulls struggled against Bucks last season and while I'm sure they are aware of those struggles and will be looking to prove Bucks curse is gone, it's just a huge line against a good team.
Bucks or nothing for me here.

Washington - Indiana

Playoff loss revenge on paper, but I doubt that anyone that is watching the Pacers, can think of revenge or see them as the same team as last year.
Still, Wizards don't want to lose such an easy game.
Wizards are obvious favorites, but not sure I want to lay 8.5 points.
Maybe good for a teaser or ML parlay to take the Wizards her.

SA Spurs - Atlanta

Only two teams in the league played only 2 games so far this season and tonight they meet. Both 1 - 1 SU and 0 - 2 ATS, both with home win and road loss.
Budenholzer knows Spurs organization very well, after working there for almost two decades, but last year, Spurs won both games, trashing Hawks in Atlanta, 105 - 79 and struggling, winning by 2 points at home, 102 - 100.
Probably skip, but small lean towards the Spurs.
Spurs off a loss, still without ATS cover and Hawks are a nice team, but no more than that.
Still, a lot of point to lay.
Wizards and Spurs can be a nice teaser.

Phoenix - Memphis

Suns lost playoff ticket last season, in the final four games of the season, losing to SAS, Dallas and Memphis - three losses in a row.
Phoenix won the Spurs already and now face Memphis. Memphis owned Suns last season. 4 - 0 SU and ATS speak for themselves.
I think that Memphis got in Suns players head. I watched them against the Lakers and they played horrible and they are lucky they played the Sixers of the West.
I have no doubt that Suns want to win this one and want to win badly.
Still, Memphis played well (finally) against NO and they want to continue their amazing start.
Probably skip, but very small lean to Memphis.
Last year, both games in Phoenix ended in an Under. The total tonight is in the range of what we seen last year between them, but I do think that Memphis games right now turn in to garbage scoring wise.
Under should be interesting option here.

Utah - Cleveland

Cleveland off a loss and again, I know that Cleveland will lose B2B this season, but I'm willing to bet that when the season ends, you will be able to count on one hand Cavs losing streaks.
Cleveland or nothing for me.
Cleveland + SA + Wizards ML parlay looks decent for very nice odds here btw.
Also maybe TT Over on Cleveland.

Sacramento - Denver

Grantland has an article, suggesting that Kings are last year's Suns (discuss if it's possible) and I think that Kings have Cousins who is amazing and so much above the rest of mediocre teams stars that it's absurd (better than best player in Minny, Orlando, Utah, Denver, Philly and many others).
Bottom line for me is simple. If two teams play each other B2B, take the team that lost in the first game.
Denver or nothing for me here.

GSW - LA Clippers

Clippers are awful so far and still wait for a game they will cover.
GSW play good basketball (besides the game against the Kings) and this is playoff loss revenge.
GSW or nothing here for me.

I think the Kings handle the Nuggets, they are playing better basketball. Played the ml @Den no reason to switch sides now. Over or nothing for me in that one, last game sailed even though Den shot 38% with Lawson 1-8, Gallinari 0-6. Kind of thought ot would be 204 or so. As I said yesterday, I thought the Cavs would lose yesterday and win the next two, so they are getting MLed with another game... Just trying to decide if it's Bulls or Nets

Boston first 5. Obvious but it should be cash Toronto has not covered or won away first 5 at either 0rlando or Miami, Boston in their only home game roasted Nets first 5 67 to 41. Toronto 4 in 5 looking at Washington ahead in a true revenge game. Should be a strong play and playing this big Price was .5. Like Boston for game as well. SBB’S ATS TREND OF THE DAY: T he Raptors are 0-10 ATS (-8.70 ppg) since Mar 22, 1999 on the road with no rest after a win where they shot less than 40% from the field.

Clippers have not covered a game this year. Warriors have covered every game this year. Lee should return tonight, but may not start.

Indiana this year in the first quarter At home lose by 4 and 3, won by 2 vs Philadelphia At Atlanta lost by 9 Washington 3-1 in the spot and in only home game won by 12 laid 3

Spurs play at Houston tomorrow Atlanta was referred to by Pounding the Rock as Spurs East The current coach was with Spurs for a long time and Pounding estimated a 4 point win. Taking the hint and 8 points

I wrote somewhere preview about each team and when I looked at the Suns, I noticed that with the three headed monster, like Hornasek called Thomas, Bledsoe and Dragic trio, there wasn't any minutes for Green, who also was one of the best players in Suns roster last year and one of the top 10 maybe athletics in the league.
Thomas was a great and very cheap signing, but the backcourt didn't need anyone, they just needed to re-sign Bledsoe and to hope for injury free season.
He was probably signed to a) get some leverage over Bledsoe and have plan B if they choose not to re-sign him b) as a injury insurance.
But with Bledsoe re-signing and everyone being healthy, there just too many good players that deserve to play and not enough minutes to give them.
You got two mediocre players like Plumlee and Len getting their minutes, because Suns don't have a decent Center, Morris and Tucker got full control over SF position as well. Dragic, Green, Thomas and Bledsoe need to share 96 minutes of backcourt, though each player deserves to be 30+ minutes, not to mention Zoran Dragic who is a great player and also Suns draft pick of Tyler Ennis, another PG (why on earth, in such a good draft, you spend your 18th pick on a PG, when you already have 3 solid PG is beyond my understanding...)
