Posted the current lines, after all the games opened for betting (except LAC - Houston and Utah - Phoenix).

At first glance, I like to tease Thunder, Nets and Spurs.

I really doubt that Grizzlies will lose tonight, but they are 0 - 4 this season SU and ATS on Wednesdays at home.
Lakers on the road are without a loss ATS wise on Wednesday this season.

Dallas has the edge as far as days of the week go tonight, for those that believe in it.

Interesting quote from Gasol:

Nothing new of course, but not often you hear NBA player admitting it...

Lakers-Pacers highlights
BY MIKE BRESNAHAN
February 26, 2014, 12:18 a.m.
INDIANAPOLIS — The relationship between Pau Gasol and Lakers Coach Mike D'Antoni, an uneasy truce in recent months, took a turn for the worse Tuesday.

It spilled over after the Lakers were pounded by the Indiana Pacers, 118-98, a promising first half tumbling into a predictable, if not inevitable, ending for the Lakers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Gasol was irritated with teammates putting up too many one-on-one shots and bothered by D'Antoni's small-ball lineup, which pitted the slender Wesley Johnson against power forward David West.

BOX SCORE: Pacers 118, Lakers 98

Gasol called for more discipline, presumably from D'Antoni, saying there were too many "individual actions" right now.

Eleven of the Lakers' 15 players are in the final year of their contracts, a big problem on a losing team, no?

"Probably. That's part of it," Gasol said. "But that's why you have to be disciplined and implement discipline. That's how you kind of make that better or make that not a factor. I don't think there's a lot of discipline right now."

Teammates needed to be unselfish by making sure the ball was passed to an open player, Gasol added.

"Otherwise it's really deflating and takes a lot of energy away from individuals," said Gasol, in the last year of a contract paying him $19.3 million this season.

Kobe Bryant is a natural disciplinarian but isn't with the team while recovering from a fractured knee. Gasol suggested it was D'Antoni's job without actually mentioning him.

"I wouldn't put that responsibility on [Bryant]. He's frustrated with his situation and his injuries," Gasol said. "I don't think he has to be the one implementing the discipline."

Gasol complained about his role on offense a few times during his six years with the team, including two months ago when he told The Times that a lack of touches in the post was directly affecting his aggressiveness.

In his third game with the Lakers, Kent Bazemore scored a career-high 23 points but took 19 shots and made only eight. MarShon Brooks, a newcomer with a gunner's reputation, had 11 points on four-for-10 shooting. Gasol was six for 13 against Indiana.

The Lakers were outrebounded, 62-42, an unsurprising statistic because the physical Pacers own the NBA's best overall (43-13) and home record (27-3).

"When you get outrebounded by 20 rebounds, I don't care who you are and what you do, it's not going to work and you're not going to win," said Gasol, who had 13 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes.

He was asked how the smaller Johnson would fare against beefy Memphis forward Zach Randolph if the Lakers continued to roll with a small lineup Wednesday.

"Good luck, right?" Gasol said, sighing. "Let's see what happens [Wednesday] if Wes continues to start or if we actually try to match up and utilize our size because we do have guys with size that can do well."

D'Antoni had already spoken to reporters by the time Gasol did. He was the last Lakers player to leave the locker room, taking the longest time to shower and dress.

D'Antoni didn't say much to the team after the game.

"Nothing," he said. "I'm not one to tell them right now. We'll talk tomorrow morning. We'll let them cool off a little bit and we'll show them some film and get a better idea of exactly how bad we played. Hopefully we can go out tomorrow and correct some mistakes."

D'Antoni, though, recognized the need for better team basketball.

"We tried to go one on one. When they turned the heat on, we just put our head down and we tried to beat [them] that way and you can't do that," he said. "Our new guys have got to learn how to play a little bit. We've got to teach them."

D'Antoni mostly complimented Bazemore but acknowledged his need to get a better feel for the game and not force things "a couple times."

The Lakers (19-38) trailed the Pacers at halftime, 57-54, but their offense faltered from there. Paul George had 20 points for the Pacers, who used only one starter (Lance Stephenson) in the fourth quarter.

Gasol wasn't buying the Lakers-initially-played-well story line.

"Better teams take it easy in the first half and then when they see the game is kind of close or they're fooling around with the game, they step it up in the third," he said. "I've been on the other side of it and I've done it many times."

if someone could post the suns/jazz line when it is available i would appreciate it.
Also the injury report - Goran is ? right now..

Opened at suns -2.... Now it's jazz -1 on pinny. Pk other places I believe

total opened at 201.5... Down to 201

Celtics 1st game back from west coast trip - have 2 days off then 2nd game home vs pacers..

Suns in 3rd game in 4 nights in altitude. Demoralizing loss yesterday though. Idk if I could trust the jazz

i will play along -

Who have the rockets beaten during the playing "the best ball of almost anyone"

Houston 5-1 SU and ATS b2b away

They have alternated wins and losses as the underdog this season, winning their last one at the Mavs. And they have either won SU or failed to cover in the role of the road dog: 5-5 SU and 5-4-1 ATS

Trend 5h LA Lakers have covered 9 straight (FIRST HALVES) ATS on the Road, on their second game of a Back to Back. (0 Days Rest)

Pounding the Rocks is calling for a Spurs win by 5. ???
Pointwise is calling for 119-95

Per rotoworld:

Goran Dragic (ankle) is unlikely to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
There were some reports earlier that he will not play, but he remains a game-time call. The Suns are likely going to give Ish Smith all the minutes he can handle tonight. Dragic owners should take him out of their lineups for now and check back for an update.

despite celtics playing pacers next I see no reason to bet them…two teams that are struggling right now…if celts ahead at half then atl 2nd half

[h=2]WARRIORS AT BULLS, 8 P.M. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 7:11PM
TV: LeaguePass

 • The Bulls and Warriors each get a key contributor back for Wednesday’s game. The Bulls’ swingman Jimmy Butler returns after missing two games due to a bruised rib, and Warriors forward David Lee returns after a bout of the flu. Butler brings his 12.4 points and five rebounds per game to the contest and will start. Warriors coach Mark Jackson said he was not sure what he was going to do against the Bulls with his starting lineup, but looked forward to having Lee’s 19.1 points and 9.9 rebounds back into the game.
 • The game tonight is the classic of two hot teams with differing styles. The Warriors have a four-game winning streak and are 17-12 on the road while the Bulls have won six of their last seven games since losing to the Warriors in Oakland 102-87 three weeks ago. That game was played without Lee and center Andrew Bogut for the Warriors and Carlos Boozer for the Bulls due to injuries. The Warriors average 103.3 points per game while the Bulls give up just 92.5 points per game, the second best total in the league. But Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said the Warriors have improved greatly on defense, where they allow 98.6 points per game. “When you have a center (Bogut) who can protect the rim, I think their commitment has changed. Then you have (Andre) Iguodala inside as well.”
 • The Warriors may have too much talent these days. Jermaine O’Neal has averaged 11 points and 9.3 rebounds in 28.5 minutes per game starting the last four games since the all-Star break. He is shooting 58.6 percent from the field. Meanwhile, his backcourt depth has improved with the addition of Steve Blake from the Lakers, whom Jackson called “no maintenance.” “He’s a proven guy,’’ Jackson said. “He can play the ‘1’, he can play the ‘2’, and he has a calming influence on the bench. What was once a weakness of ours (the depth) is now a strength.”
 • Thibodeau said he is willing to hear what the league says about possible rules changes, but “I like the game we have right now”. He said the league has the advantage of a working D-League where they can try out some ideas, like the much-talked about 4-point shot. “If something makes sense, you try it,’’ he said.

[h=2]PELICANS VS. MAVERICKS, 8 P.M. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 7:03PM
TV: ESPN

 • The Mavericks will be going for the season sweep of the Pelicans Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center. Dirk Nowitzki scored 40 points in the last meeting between the two clubs, but a controversial no-call on an Austin Rivers 3-point attempt at the end of regulation was the story of the game. ”We felt like he got fouled. Just didn’t bounce our way,” Pelicans coach Monty Williams said. Turnovers have been the difference between the teams in the last two meetings, as the Pelicans gave the ball away an average of 17.5 times per game. “Any time you turn the ball over you can come up with anything you want to, but it’s usually sloppiness,” Williams said. “[The Mavericks] don’t force you into tough situations with all their veteran guys. They usually wait on you … A lot of it is just us.”
 • History does not bode well for New Orleans, as Dallas has won 21 of 23 meetings all time at the American Airlines Center.
 • Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said a win Friday begins with shutting down All-Star forward Anthony Davis. “In their wins they have a much higher shot-blocking number and he’s the reason,” Carlisle said. “Knowing where he is on defense is really important.”

[h=2]HAWKS AT CELTICS, 7:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 6:58PM
TV: League Pass

 • Brad Stevens made his first public comments about the Boston Herald report that Rajon Rondo missed the team’s game in Sacramento last Saturday night without permission from the team. “I talked to [Rondo]. We’re handling it internally. We did that [talk on] Monday. In my mind, we’re moving forward and when Danny Ainge gets back in town, the two of them will meet and go from there,” Stevens said. It remains unclear whether Rondo will face discipline from the team for his absence.

 • Kelly Olynyk will be sidelined tonight due to a sprained toe he suffered Saturday night in Sacramento. Stevens said he will be in a walking boot for the next couple days and is questionable for Saturday’s game against Indiana. Jared Sullinger (concussion) is also out for the third straight game. He is hoping to be cleared to play on Saturday. Avery Bradley (ankle) remains out indefinitely.

 • With the Celtics shorthanded in the frontcourt, Stevens will shift his starting lineup and give Jerryd Bayless his first start of the season with the team. Gerald Wallace will move to the bench and play in more of a stretch-4 role off the bench. It’s also possible that the team will add a player on a 10-day contract to give the team more healthy bodies. Former Maverick Rodrigue Beaubois is one name that has surfaced in reports and Stevens confirmed signing him is a possibility.

 • The Hawks have lost nine of their last 10 games, in large part to a rash of injuries that have left them lacking depth in the frontcourt. Gustavo Ayon, Pero Antic, and Paul Milisap all remain out for tonight’s game, leaving Elton Brand and Mike Scott as the team’s only remaining frontcourt bigs in Mike Budenholzer’s regular rotation.

[h=2]CAVALIERS AT THUNDER, 8 P.M. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 6:53PM
TV: League Pass

 • Thunder rookie center Steven Adams will make his second straight start and fourth of the season in place of injured starter Kendrick Perkins. Perkins will be out six weeks with a left groin injury. “We’re happy with the progress Steven has made this season,” said Thunder head coach Scott Brooks. “Tonight we just need him to follow the game plan, run the floor at both ends, defend the rim and guard the pick and roll.” OKC is 0-3 this season without Perkins in the lineup.
 • The Cavs are in even worse shape injury-wise. Third leading scorer Dion Waiters (14.5 ppg) is out with a hyperextended left knee, forward/center Anderson Varejao is out with a sore back, guard/forward C.J. Miles is out with a sprained left ankle. None of the three even made the trip to Oklahoma City.
 • Newly acquired center Spencer Hawes will make his second start for the Cavs tonight since being acquired from Philadelphia. In the three games he’s played so far with Cleveland he’s averaging nearly a double-double with 12.7 points and 9.7 rebounds.
 • Cleveland has lost three straight after having won six in a row and OKC has lost their first two games back from the All-Star break after winning 15 of their previous 17 games.
 • The Thunder will be trying to avoid their first three game losing streak at home since the 2008-09 season, their first in Oklahoma City after moving from Seattle.

[h=2]Sixers At Magic, 7 P.M. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 6:40PM
TV: League Pass

 • The Sixers (15-42) have lost 11 straight, and 10 in a row at home. It is their longest losing streak since they dropped 12 in a row from Nov. 20 to Dec. 11, 2009, and their longest home skid since they lost 12 straight from Dec. 9, 1996 to Jan. 24, 1997. Philadelphia is also seeking to avoid its first winless month of four games or more since it went 0-13 in March 1973. That was the final month of the Sixers’ 9-73 season.
 • The Magic (17-42) has lost 16 straight on the road, a franchise single-season record. A loss tonight would equal the team mark of 17, established when Orlando dropped the last 12 games of last season, and the first five of this one. The Magic is 3-27 away from home to date.
 • The Sixers bought out the contract of veteran forward Danny Granger, acquired last week in a trade from Indiana. “Given Danny’s future goals and his desire to pursue them, we worked to fulfill his requests and have come to a resolution that we feel is mutually beneficial to both Danny and our organization,” general manager Sam Hinkie said in a statement. Added coach Brett Brown, “We wish him well. We worked with him. We talked a lot about treating people the way people should be treated – respecting his situation, listening to him and still running a business. Sam was able to do both of those things.” According to Yahoo Sports, the Clippers are the frontrunners to sign Granger when he clears waivers in 48 hours, though the Spurs, Heat, Rockets, Mavericks and Bulls also have interest.
 • Orlando guard Arron Afflalo, the Magic’s leading scorer at 19.7 points a night, will miss his third straight game with a sprained right ankle. Afflalo notched a career-high 43 in a 126-125 double-overtime loss to Philadelphia on Dec. 3.
 • The game features two top rookie point guards in Philadelphia’s Michael Carter-Williams and Orlando’s Victor Oladipo. Each of them had a triple-double in that Dec. 3 game, the first time in NBA history two rookies accomplished that feat in the same game. “They’ll be linked together for a long time,” Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said.

[h=2]ROCKETS AT CLIPPERS, 10;30 p.m. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 9:42PM
TV: ESPN

 • Rockets center Dwight Howard briefly left Tuesday’s game against the Kings after a knee-to-knee collision, but he’s set to play tonight when the Clippers host Houston at Staples Center in a potential first-round playoff preview. Howard could find himself matched against Clippers backup power forward Glen Davis, who was signed by L.A. earlier this week after he was bought out by the Magic. Davis and Howard were teammates during Howard’s last season in Orlando in 2011-12 and they’ve played on opposite sides during two postseason matchups while Davis was with the Celtics from 2007-2011, spending all four seasons under the guidance of Clippers coach Doc Rivers.

 • Houston will be looking to salvage a win in the season series after losing its first two games against the Clippers by double digits, including a 137-118 blowout at Staples Center in early November. L.A.’s starting lineup has changed since then, as J.J. Redick will miss his ninth consecutive game with a bulging disc in his back and Jared Dudley has been replaced in the starting lineup by Matt Barnes, who will be trying to reach double figures in scoring in four straight games for the first time since last March. Barnes has turned things around this month by shooting 11-for-20 from 3-point range in the last three games after shooting 9-for-34 in the previous 10 games. Jamal Crawford, who has taken over for Redick in the starting lineup, has also caught fire, averaging 25.2 points and shooting 41.1 percent from long range this month. Crawford is the first player since 2008-09 to score at least 30 points twice as a starter and twice as a reserve in the same season.

[h=2]NETS AT TRAIL BLAZERS, 10 P.M. ET[/h] February 26, 2014 · 9:03PM
TV: League Pass

 • Portland will be both short-handed and short tonight. Four of the team’s five centers and power forwards will be missing due to injury — starting power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (groin) and backup Thomas Robinson (knee) and reserve centers Joel Freeland (knee) and Meyers Leonard (ankle). The only man left standing is starting center Robin Lopez. Reserve small forward Dorell Wright — 6-9 and 205 pounds — will start at the four-spot for the fifth straight game. “Our backup center is (small forward) Victor Claver,” Portland coach Terry Stotts said. “He’s a ‘stretch five.’ “
 • The depleted Trail Blazers won at Denver 100-95 Tuesday night despite being outrebounded 64-41, giving up 27 to the Nuggets off the offensive glass. Former Blazer JJ Hickson had 25 boards, including 15 at the offensive end.
 • Will Brooklyn try to pack it inside against the Blazers? ”We want to put pressure on them by getting the ball in the paint and making plays that present themselves for layups,” Nets coach Jason Kidd said. “But the thing we’ve been doing well is moving the ball. That’s what we have to do tonight. That and protect the 3-point line.”
 • It’s a matchup between two of the premier point guards in the NBA in Portland’s Damian Lillard and Brooklyn’s Deron Williams. In the four games in which Aldridge has been missing, Lillard has averaged 30.5 points while shooting .500 from the field, .444 from 3-point range and .889 from the foul line. ”Damian is taking what the defense gives him, but he probably understands he has to give a little bit more,” Kidd said. “He has responded in a positive way. He puts a lot of pressure on us defensively. We have to try to make him work at both ends.” Over the last three games, Williams has averaged 23.0 points while shooting .491 the field and .870 from the line. He scored a season-high 30 points in Sunday’s 108-102 win over the L.A. Lakers at Staples Center. ”He has a bounce to his step,” Stotts said. “He runs the team, he shoots the ball, he’s finding people, he can make plays for himself and (teammates). He’s a threat all the way around.”
 • The Nets have won six of their last nine to begin a playoff push and have a full roster available tonight. ”We’re as healthy as we’ve been for a long time,” Kidd said. “That’s been a big key.”

In four out of five Clipper home losses they trailed at the end of the first quarter. In five of the five home losses they trailed at the half.
