There is a High Wind advisory in effect until midnight...I am about 30 minutes south of Cleveland and it is getting pretty nasty here. It just started raining and it is very windy. Also, it poured all Friday and Saturday so expect a wet surface...

The remnants of Ike will bring the threat of some severe storms into the Great Lakes this evening. Most of the severe storms will form along and to the east of the area of heaviest rain. Residents of Cincinnati and Cleveland, Detroit, the western suburbs of Pittsburgh, and Buffalo, N.Y., could see isolated severe thunderstorms this evening.

The greatest risk from these storms will be strong, gusty winds to 50 mph, although a few weak tornadoes are also possible. Weakening tropical storms and depressions often produce twisters with little or no warning, so residents should be ready to move quickly if a warning is issued or you witness a tornado forming. Tornadoes along tropical systems can destroy roofs and topple trees.
