I see there's some pretty shitty weather that could affect some games tomorrow, particularly in the eastern half of the country. I've googled a few games where gusty winds and rain will be present. If anybody has any local input, it would be greatly appreciated. Good luck to all...

Supposed to be winds from the NW tomorrow at Kinnick (Iowa), pretty steady around 15 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH. The way Kinnick is set up, teams go north and south, so one team will have a pretty strong wind at their back each quarter.

This has actually changed in the last hour or so. Definitely the wind (it's been windy around these parts all week except yesterday).

That's pretty generic fwiw. I've seen weather.gov etc hold to their 40% number through early afternoon.

Rain doesn't seem to make much difference unless it is a tropical downpour like the Mizzou/S Caro or UCF Memphis games, but wind can completely change how a game is played. Here is the wind map for midday Saturday. Looks like the only bad winds are due in the Great Lakes area and around Seattle.

I am like 75 minutes away from there and same thing.

The system/storm/whatever is swirling in from the Northwest. I believe it is moving fast.

looks like the best chance of steady rain is right around halftime...chances before but it has slowed slightly?

WKU would seem particularly hampered if wind limited their offense. They attempt about 39 passes per game this year and typically they struggle to run the ball. They did avg 4.9ypc vs Ball St, but in their other 5 games just 2.6 ypc in their other 5.

as reported above, wind at Kinnick Stadium,Iowa City is strong and now STRONGER. Forecast is winds 11-28,MPH and right now at 28 with gusts expected to 44MPH. Total has dropped from opener at 51 to 42.5.
