Hmmm, do not want to be against you on with the Boys. I may look to that over instead.

Also, I really like that over in Miami. I think that may be a play people sleep on this week. GL, Press.

made bills/phins 50...not much margin but expect it to go up.

Made cows/bolts 52.5 Always good to take an over on a home team that won the previous week.

The final injury report is in for the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to head west and take on the Los Angeles Chargers. Unfortunately we already know that some players are out. DeMarcus Lawrence had surgery on his foot and has already been moved to IR. He joins Michael Gallup on that list who is recovering from a calf strain that happened in the Week 1 game. La’el Collins is also out with his suspension. Randy Gregory is not officially out yet, but all signs point to him missing the game because of COVID.

Today, we also found out that reserve tackle Ty Nsekhe will miss the game after he suffered a bout of heat exhaustion on Thursday that actually led to a hospital visit. The Cowboys offensive line depth at tackle will be tested with both Collins and Nsekhe out.

Were these coaches swapping spit or the same hooker?

The Saints will be a little lighter when it comes to their Week 2 NFC South matchup against the Panthers. Thursday's injury report saw nine players listed on it, and five of them have been ruled out for Sunday. Here's how it looks.

OUT: Erik McCoy (calf), Chase Hansen (groin), Pete Werner (hamstring), Marcus Davenport (shoulder), Kwon Alexander (elbow)

QUESTIONABLE: Marshon Lattimore (hand), Tanoh Kpassagnon (calf), C.J. Gardner-Johnson (knee), P.J. Williams (back)

Sean Payton revealed on Friday morning that Lattimore will be a game-time decision. He mentioned that these type of injuries depend on the specific nature of it, and they'll gauge his progress in practice. Both Alexander and Davenport went on injured reserve, with them missing at least three games.

NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill reported that Alexander, Gardner-Johnson, Werner, Kpassagnon, Davenport, and McCoy were not practicing on Friday.

Meanwhile, some coaches who tested positive for COVID-19 several days ago will not be in the mix for the game. Per the team announcement, Jim Chaney (offensive analyst), Declan Doyle (offensive assistant), Phil Galiano (assistant special teams), Curtis Johnson (senior offensive assistant/wide receivers), Brendan Nugent (offensive line), Dan Roushar (run game coordinator/tight ends) and Joel Thomas (running backs). Johnson’s, Nugent’s, Roushar’s and Thomas’s responsibilities will be divided among the offensive staff.

The New England Patriots and New York Jets have released their final injury and practice participation reports ahead of their week two showdown in the Meadowlands.

The Pats and Jets will face off this Sunday, September 19 at 1:00pm at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Here is Friday afternoon’s full report:

OL Chuma Edoga, Illness (Non-Covid) (DNP)

What it means for the Patriots:

Following his absence during the Patriots previous two practices this week, Trent Brown’s return to practice on Friday bodes well for his ability to play on Sunday. Of course, it should be noted that Brown is listed as ‘questionable’ on Friday’s report, his presence during the walkthrough session [at least] keeps the door open to his being in the lineup for week two.

The news was not as good for Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy, who missed his third straight practice Friday, dealing with a throat issue. Unsurprisingly, he has been declared as ‘Out’ for Sunday’s matchup with the Jets. In Van Noy’s absence, his linebacking duties will likely fall to both Josh Uche and Harvey Langi. Uche had one tackle and one sack against the Dolphins on Sunday, and is likely to see the majority of Van Noy’s snaps, while Langi would assume the reserve role.

With Quinn Nordin officially ‘out’ for Sunday’s game, it nearly becomes a foregone conclusion that kicker Nick Folk will join quarterback Brian Hoyer as the team’s roster elevations against the Jets. As each has already been elevated once (for the season-opener against Miami), the Pats will be using their final roster elevation on both Folk and Hoyer. Should the Patriots wish to utilize their services in future regular season games, they will need to officially sign them to their 53-man roster. As such, corresponding roster moves are likely within the coming days; either before New England’s week two matchup, or shortly thereafter.

For the second straight day, Jonnu Smith was ‘limited’ in his practice participation and is listed as ‘questionable’ for Sunday’s matchup. With the Pats seemingly intent on utilizing several two-tight end sets, as well as increasing their effectiveness in the red zone, Smith’s potential absence on the field could derail those plans.

What it means for the Jets:

Entering Sunday’s matchup, the Jets are looking relatively healthy. New York did not declare any player as being ‘out’ for Sunday’s contest, however, LB Jamien Sherwood is listed as ‘doubtful.’

Receivers Keelan Cole (knee) and Jamison Crowder (groin) are listed as ‘questionable,’ as both were limited in practice throughout the week. Each, however, is expected to play on Sunday.

Offensive lineman Chuma Edoga is also ‘questionable’ with a non-COVID illness. Should he be absence, it would further weaken an offensive line that is already without the services of fellow lineman Mekhi Becton, who is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury.

Questionable

  • DT Star Lotulelei (calf)
  • WR Gabriel Davis (ankle)
  • DE Efe Obada (calf)

Will play

  • WR Emmanuel Sanders (foot)
  • S Micah Hyde (neck)
  • LB Matt Milano (ankle)
  • WR Isaiah McKenzie (shoulder)

Notes:

Lotulelei did not play in Week 1 vs. Steelers. … Davis was upgraded to limited on Thursday and Friday. … Obada was injured during Friday’s practice.

Miami Dolphins (1-0)

Out

  • WR Will Fuller (personal reason)

Questionable

  • WR Preston Williams (foot)

Will play

  • S Clayton Fejedelem (shoulder)
  • WR DeVante Parker (shoulder)
  • DT John Jenkins (knee)
  • LB Elandon Roberts (knee)
  • TE Adam Shaheen (knee)
  • LB Andrew Van Finkel (back)

Notes:

Fuller did not practice all week but it was non-injury related. … Williams was upgraded to full participation on Thursday but then downgraded to limited on Friday.
